I have been a long-time loyal customer of Leann Chin, especially due to it being a Minnesota business. I work for a large corporate company and handle/organize a lot of our large catering orders for the Twin Cities and have used Leann Chins many times. My experience today makes me question if I want to continue my patronage to this business. I used to frequent the Richfield and Bloomington locations, but due to some recent changes my closest location now is Knollwood, unfortunately. The girl working today over lunch (8/21/2024 @ around 12:30PM) with glasses and her dark hair in a bun was rude beyond belief. I could see her rudely talking to other customers before and after me as well. After receiving my order (over $15) I noticed that my Thai coconut chicken curry only had two small pieces of chicken and asked her if I could have a little more chicken, she gave me glare grabbed my bowl from my hands and added one piece of chicken. I said thank you, and she just looked at me rudely and said nothing. She had such a terrible energy to her that I fear I will never return to the Knollwood location again. Leann Chin needs to be aware that all customers should be treated kindly as one may be a relatively high supporter of their business, such as myself. She is a liability. Plus, my bourbon chicken I had as well had so many fatty pieces that half of the tiny portion could even be consumed. 0/10 experience at this location. I recommend you take the drive to another location to experience what Leann Chins...
Read moreNasty beyond belief!! The whatâs so called âmanagerâ shouted out â next time, you donât have money, donât eat.â at the checkout!!! WOW! Just wow
I walked in ordering a two item entry, the âmanagerâmade my order wrong and asked me to pay for the double meat of one item, I first agreed. Then at the check out, they made my order wrong again along with someone else items which I didnât order, so I clarified with them, manager and coworker, and asked to please remove the extra item I didnât feel like paying anymore. The âmanagerâ then made a comment ânext time, you donât have money, donât eat.â in my face, âexcuse me?! You donât have money, donât work.â I threw it back, then asked â whoâs the manager?â He said he is!! Well, I donât have money to spend on an uneducated inconspicuous âmanagerâ managed chain restaurant with this kind of attitude. The food here was mostly gross too, I almost dumped it at the door as I walked outâŠ..
It jolted me LeaAnn Chin would hire this kind of âmanagerâ. There was no service, but full of insult. I hope people get the picture with this place here. But, this manager had better be gone before the...
Read moreItâs Sunday evening and without Vikings Football until Monday night I decided to have a late dinner at my favorite Leann Chin location in St. Louis Park. Remembering I had a free entree to redeem, I strolled up to the front counter only to be greeted by a young, kind line server named Amari who walked me through the check out process. Amari helped me redeem my (somewhat confusing but likely just a ââme vs. technologyâ thing) free entree via the Leann Chin App. He made several suggestions including a recommendation to try the Peking Chicken which ended up being the highlight of my plate! They had just ran out of pot stickers and Amari wasted know time dishing them up and running them out to my table immediately after fresh ones hit the line. The food (as always) hit the spot however the best part of my experience was Amari and his unique ability to provide incredible customer service and at the same time showing the world that expert customer service is still very much alive & well. Well, it is whenever Amari...
