They have good tasting pan dulce however I’ve been charged differently three times I have been there (never had a problem before been going since they opened, live 5 minutes away so I visited frequently) The first time they had someone new so maybe she didn’t know the prices (which they should have on display so people know how much each pastry is) but I paid around $12 for 5 pieces of bread nothing special about the bread for it to be that expensive. the second time I bought more and paid the same, third time again overpriced. Anyway mom bought a cake there and they wrote the name wrong even when she told Them letter by letter (mom speaks Spanish so they shouldn’t have gotten the name wrong) the following week I went in and bought a cake from their fridge display it stated that it was chocolate but when we cut it it was vanilla :/ now I will only go if I have to. Husband order a small birthday cake for my 41st birthday and I have to say the cake was nasty. It was part of the cake that was burnt so the cake was dry the frosting you can taste the sugar crystals in it. I’m wondering if they dumped sugar in it and mix it with by hand I don’t know but it was nasty. They did not properly put the decorations on the top of the cake. I asked for white frosting, happy birthday Audrey with balloons outlined on the cake and as you can see from the picture, they made frosting balloons instead of an outline because I do not like a ton of frosting on the top of my cake. My husband got a cake for my birthday, the main reason why I even wanted a cake was to have a layer of edible glitter so when I blew the candle it would disperse the glitter it would flutter everywhere. When he called they said they could do that for us, but when he picked it up there was barely any glitter (as shown in the picture). He then asked if he could get a packet of glitter and she said “sorry we dont do that.” I’m just really disappointed.
