Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Saint Paul

I've ordered from here 3 times. I have no personal vendetta with any of the employees, but this Jimmy Johns is extremely hit or miss. It's allllllllways something in my experience.

1st time I ordered it took over 1hr 30 mins to get a sammy about 5 minutes away. I would have just picked up the sub, but I had to stay at my location for work purposes. Employees were very nice about the situation and apologized. Not a huge deal but frustrating for sure. Food was fresh, tasted good. No complaints with food.

2nd time i ordered I was very dysfunctional over the phone and was ordering with friend's credit card. Got to end of order and didn't have security code. Had to call back. On top of that, my phone line was sketchy and we had trouble communicating. But the employee was patient and understanding. Great customer service, I really appreciated that. I was at the same spot as mentioned above for the same reason. Sammy got to me in 20 minutes, way better than the first time. When i ate the food though, it was easily the worst sandwiches I've ever had from Jimmy Johns in like 6 years. I'm really trying to be fair in this review, but my goodness. The bread was rock hard, meat smelled off, practically no mayo. I get the same thing every single time I go here, there's certain level I expect. Not anything fancy or gourmet but seriously, I wouldn't send this sandwich to anyone unless they were on my sh** list. Nasty.

The 3rd time was a fine experience and the bare minimum one would expect for a sammy delivery. Ordered online, sandwich showed up in about 35 minutes. (Still pretty slow for being literally down the street but I digress, could have been busy). Food was fine, not spectacular. I'd say it was at towards the bottom but not as bad as my second time ordering.

There's a location on Ford Parkway in Highland that I think sets the standard for a Jimmy Johns. Would like to see a Youtube video comparing the two, would be interesting.

Man, I get it. This is life. Jimmy Johns are a dime a dozen. Different expectations for every store. Some managers just try and slide to make a buck, others really hustle. I'd hate to see a convenient location go under but I feel like this store isn't sustainable. Eventually enough people are going to catch on to the inconsistencies and just stop coming here. It's nothing personal but I feel like I've wasted my money 2/3 times coming here. At the end of the day, this place's purpose is a decently fast, fresh cold cut delivered to you. 66% of the time for me, it doesn't do that.

I wish all the friendly employees the best and hope this location can get it's poop into a group. For sure not ordering...

A couple of weeks ago, I was there with my boyfriend and the in/outside of that place was absolutely disgusting. Outside right by the door, there drinks spilled everywhere and cups and bottles laying there and there were pop tart wrappers and broken pop tarts spread everywhere and it got into the store that were smushed from other customers walking in. And once you walked in, the tables were not cleaned, there were napkins everywhere. I thought about ordering a sandwiche but all I saw were the male employees constantly pulling their pants with their gloves on.

So I thought I'd just buy a drink and leave. When I got to fountain, I almost didn't even want to get anything to drink anymore because the spouts were so nasty. Leftover residue of soda sticking onto the spouts. No lids were stocked and there were no straws at all. I asked for some straws but the girls that were just standing there just rolled theirs eyes and scoffed at me. I mean, am I ask for too much?

Staying away from this place. Never...

I use to come to this location very often. I was a dedicated Jimmy lover of this location for 3years. I loved our delivery driver and the food was amazing but it truly has went down hill. The store is filled with a teenage staff that doesn't care about their job. I ordered in the store and my order was made too quick. I told the cashier I had rewards but was quickly ignored. The staff are belligerent and rude when you ask them to remake your sandwich. I asked for certain things to be taken off my sandwich due to pregnancy and allergies. The sandwich was still made wrong. I get service is freaky fast but if your not going to make it right are you really fast at all? This location is ghetto and I don't recommend anyone coming here. I'm only 21 years old and the adult staff act like children to me. I have walked in and walked immediately out once I saw 4 teenagers hanging over the counter and...
