Went to their truck at the vegfest. After about 15 minutes of waiting I asked where I was in line and they said I wasn't on the list. I told them when I ordered and what and assumed they added me but after another 15 of waiting I had seen many people who ordered after me get food, they again acted like they didn't know I had ordered my food, basically forgetting me a second time. The woman who took my order then tried to claim another employee Forgot it but I had been standing there the entire time and there was no shift change. She took my order and then didn't give my order to the chef. When prompted she admitted she didn't and then again didn't put my order into the chef a second time. When I asked a third time she claimed she never took my order. Completely incompetent.
After over 30 minutes the festival was nearly over so I just asked for a refund. The chef was very polite but the cashier was not polite and rude. Basically forgot my order and then when they admitted they forgot it tried to lie and say some fictional employee made the mistake. Would be a higher review if I was reviewing the chef but the cashier doesn't deserve even the 1 star min. It's one thing to forget an order, but to forget it twice and then claim you weren't working the register when you were is...
Read moreI recently had the chance to check out Life Juices on Lexington in St. Paul, and this spot is absolutely amazing! First off, I love that it’s Black-owned and rooted in serving the community by motivating people to make healthier lifestyle choices. Their purpose and mission are inspiring.
I’ve tried several of their juices, and they’re always fresh and flavorful. Plus, they’ll sometimes give you a free energy shot, which is a nice bonus! Lately, I’ve been hooked on their açaí bowls. The Como Bowl, in particular, is a favorite—packed with fresh fruit and incredible flavor. Every bite feels like a burst of freshness and goodness.
Ordering here is smooth, whether you use the kiosk or chat with the friendly staff up front. The wait time is reasonable, usually about five to ten minutes. For parking, there’s plenty of street parking along Lexington, and they share a parking lot with neighboring businesses, so it’s convenient.
This spot is open year-round, and I genuinely hope they continue thriving. If you’re looking for a place to support a Black-owned business and enjoy amazing, healthy options, Life...
Read moreI been to San Francisco to a bodega and a lady there will fresh press the juice while you stand there and you walk off with a large cold cup of juice for $9. This is a joke. You order at the screen if using card so I couldn’t ask any questions about the juice. Then the top part came and is defaulted to tip or custom amount. They were funny so I’m funny too-here have a penny. Then I got the juice and it was smaller than it looked in the photo and I told him that. And he says, “It will leave you so refreshed.” Completely ignoring my comment. So disrespectful and anti-customer service. I thought the screen sucked and was disappointed I couldn’t ask about the juice but I can see I would have been wasting my breath with dude. I wanted to support a small business. I always go out of my way to support small Black owned as a means of circulating dollars into the community but I ain’t coming back. And the juice...
