This was my first time at yellowbird. Overall, it was a great experience. I ordered the house special affogato. Being that I’ve never had an affogato before, I had no point of reference. That being said, I thought it was quite good and I enjoyed it. I came here with three friends. I found it interesting that some of us were served with re-usable dishes and some with disposable. I am not sure for the reason why. I would prefer re-usable dishes for all of us since we were staying in, but perhaps there were not too many clean at the moment. Something I appreciated that made my time yellowbird distinct was the lack of music. Most coffee shops have moderate to loud music playing. I cannot recall being at one where they do not play music. Some may not appreciate this, but I like being able to just hear the chatter of others and not need music playing. Maybe I’ll be back here!

New phone gave me an old Google account. Oh well, guess I'll leave the review here until I figure it out. Yellowbird Coffee is a place I came up on about 2 months ago. I like going to places where I doon't know anyone and hang out. This place serves my purpose. The place reminds me of my Catholic School classroom. World maps and a globe. All they need is an American flag in the corner. Service is nice and the food is limited but excellent. I love their veggie burrito. I recommend this place with confidence.

I love meeting with friends at yellowbird. I moved into the neighborhood in 2020, and I wasn't sure how much folks would welcome a casserole on the porch to say hello. yellowbird is a lovely way to get to know neighbors in the city by meeting or happening to be around one another at a local, easy to access spot. I love that they have local artists on the wall so we can see who is living, loving, and creating in our fair twin cities. ❤️🌻🦄

This place is wonderful! The wife and I were here on vacation (Minnesota) and walked here to the Yellow Bird Coffee Bar every morning. Initially just for coffee, then we discovered 2 of their specialty drinks. I strongly recommend the Lex, while my wife is an advocate of the Hamline. They are both delicious. The 'regular' coffee grinds are also impressive, and they have a nice variety to meet almost any coffee aficionado's needs or desires. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and courteous. The establishment (including the restroom) is very clean and well maintained. They have a cozy lounge chair section, a booth section, a nice table area, a bar area, and an outdoor seating area as well. Besides the coffee offerings, they have a selection of other beverages that includes iced tea and kombucha! Of course, they also have an array of pastries shipped in from a local bakery. Yes, so go here and be impressed as we were. We give it 2 thumbs, way the heck up! Eat your heart out Starbucks!

First-time guest today and most likely only-time . Steamed Vanilla milk was ok, ham and cheese croissant was ok too. Service not awesome. I came on crutches, there was no-one else in line, it was pretty quiet. Ordered, paid with tip, sat down, no offer to bring me my beverage, so i hobbled over there again and tried to balance cup and crutches. Sat back down. Went back to the counter to inquire about my paid-for croissant 10 minutes later, They had forgotten, apologised and plopped it down in front of me on the counter. Again no-one in line and no offer to help me get the plate to the chair and table where I was sitting. I asked if they would be so kind to help me. They were and brought it over for me. Went to different coffeeshop in the morning, completely different experience with attentive baristas. I don't necessarily consider this special service but basic...
