Larry's ice cream shop exceeded all expectations, providing an unforgettable experience for both the young and the young at heart. From the moment we stepped in, it was clear that this was no ordinary ice cream parlor.
First and foremost, the ice cream itself was nothing short of perfection. Each scoop was a creamy, flavor-packed delight that melted in our mouths. With over 80 flavors to choose from, it was an adventure in itself just trying to decide. From classic favorites like chocolate and vanilla to exotic options like orange sherbert, Superman, Rocky Road, and more, Larry's truly had something for everyone. And let's not forget the delightful extras – the cookies and brownies were indulgent, to say the least, and paired perfectly with our ice cream choices.
What really set Larry's apart was the magical atmosphere they created in the back area. The palm trees were adorned with enchanting blue lights that transported us to a tropical paradise. It was the perfect setting for enjoying our ice cream and creating lasting memories with the family. The kids were absolutely mesmerized by the twinkling lights, and we all felt like we had been transported to a fairytale world.
The service was equally impressive, with friendly staff who were happy to help us navigate the extensive flavor options and make recommendations. They genuinely cared about ensuring we had the best possible experience.
In conclusion, Larry's ice cream shop is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it receives. It's a place where ice cream dreams come true, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to treat yourself to the wonderful world of Larry's ice cream – you won't be...
Read moreVery DISAPPOINTING experience. We were charged almost $31 for (2) sundaes @ $6.99 each and (1) scoop in a cup $3.49. Our total should have been $17.47 and even if charged tax should not have been over $20.
When we asked for a receipt the guy who served us got an attitude about it and told us we have to realize the prices advertised on the wall are 30 years old and there's an increased cost now because of the current cost of dairy. I completely understand, but if that is the case, why was my sister (the very next customer for this same guy) charged the prices advertised on the wall and not a higher price like I was?
Then he spent the next few minutes on the phone and was back and forth before coming over and explaining to us what was going on. He said he was not trying to cheat us or anything and could not go back in the register more than 4 receipts and we were number 5. If we wanted to do anything we could come back tomorrow and talk to the owner.
He tried to be a fast talker about what we were charged for and how it works, but was making absolutely no sense in what he was saying.
He also told us not to come back anymore and was very rude about it. All for asking for a receipt to verify what we were charged for.
I asked him for his name as we were leaving and he rudely said Kevin or Chris and that he was the owner.
When we left I called the phone number and asked to speak to the owner, I was turned over to someone else to talk to which turned out to be the same rude guy to which he repeated about calling back tomorrow and...
Read morei don’t usually write reviews nor read them but u felt so compelled to write one this evening. at the end of the day, due to the time, the cost, and the attitude of the establishment, i would NOT recommend visiting this place.
It is so upsetting that such a recommended place ends up being such a terrible one. being a local, i come to larry’s often and every time i purchase their items, every time i’m disappointed.
not only is the staff unorganized, but they’re rude. i understand having a good attitude in a pandemic is so difficult, but as someone who’s worked a good portion of their life, their attitude reflects the roots and foundation of the company and it’s obvious that this specific locations owners are rude and unpleasant. the time that i’ve met them they had a horrible attitude. you can tell the establishment is a cluster and that the owners could care less about their workers.
but let’s touch on the rude staff. places like sea critters, toasted monkey, and even burgerish make their customers feel like they had a genuine connection and were truly happy with their visit. however the staff at this establishment make it obvious they’re there to work and not make connections. in fact, the way people even ask to keep the door closed is rude. being kind to someone takes nothing but being rude to someone turns away business.
not to mention their ice cream isn’t even all that. the prices are outrageous and it’s literally briars ice cream. you can get a tub at the publix across the street for cheaper...
