Unfortunately can’t recommended this place anymore. My husband is a bellman at a hotel close by and recommends this place to all the guests that ask about this type of place & won’t anymore. On 8/10/24 we walked in to buy the filter tips for rolling papers and let the lady talk us into buying a glass one, regular ones, a $20 lighter, butane to refill the lighter, and when we are standing there checking out I told my husband look they have this THC honey and the lady started talking about how amazing the packets are and she loves putting them in her tea and they had a cinnamon one that was so popular but it sold out so I was like sure let’s try one and once we got home a few hours later my husband was opening the packet and sees the expiration date is 12/2023. It is currently August 2024? I figured it was a mistake and no problem so we returned to ask for an exchange and the lady said it’s store policy they can’t refund anything that’s open. I understand if it was a packet of gummies or something I could have contaminated but the only thing that was open was the plastic that holds the sealed packets of honey. (See photos) we didn’t even want a refund we wanted an exchange for one that wasn’t expired…. Like any customer would? So my husband comes to the car and gets me and when I go in the lady has the receipt printed and is pointing to the discount she provided since the product was expired. She took $1.60 off of a $15.99 packet and acted like it was completely normal. I said you didn’t even tell us you were providing us a discount due to it being expired ? She didn’t say anything except “store policy” not even any apologies that she literally is lying to customers trying to get old rotten products off their shelves. Every time I go here, I am always amazed. The store has a cool look and the staff is always so polite, and quick to ask if they can help. The owner, Jenny, is absolutely amazing, and has the patience of a saint! The last time I was there, I waited for about 5 minutes while she helped a customer who was Christmas shopping. She was showing her different products when all of a sudden glass shattered. The lady had dropped an expensive piece of merchandise and broke it. The owner just stood there and politely smiled, as the customer went into repeat mode about how she couldn't believe she broke it. Finally she asked if she was going to have to pay for it, and offered to split the price with the owner. The owner agreed to split the cost with her. Then this lady totally decided she wasn't going to pay anything for it --AFTER SHE OFFERED! Made a bunch of excuses, and said she had to leave because "someone else would've just run out of the store." I couldn't believe it. She offered to split the cost, the owner agreed, and then she chickened out. I don't know what was more incredible -- witnessing that crazy lady -- or witnessing Jenny's reaction. I have been going to this smoke shop for about a year now. Every time I go in the owner and the main buff guy are always welcoming and very helpful. I wouldn't let some of these reviews reflect this company. Everytime I have had a problem they have been fast and professional in handling it. There are somethings that are a given with smoke shop return and I don't blame them for not being back to exchange. These are hard working honest people. I plan on to continue on support this business. One of the only shops not selling cheap knock off of brand that only last a fraction of the time it's intended to.
