My family and I went to Casa Mia Mexican Kitchen on a whim. We were very pleasantly surprised! The food is very good and the service is prompt and friendly. This is not an upscale restaurant where you pay too much for too little food, and what is not spent on the atmosphere is more than made up in food quality! The chips are very light , crispy, and fresh with no hint of the greasiness found at other establishments. The salsa was fresh and well flavored. The Street Taco Salad, the Chimi Dinner, and the Choripollo were excellent!!! The unsweetened tea was not very good, so I wouldn't recommend it. The best was saved for last, the Sopapilla and Churos were very tasty however the Flan stopped the show!! This was the largest, most delicious Flan I have ever eaten!! We inquired and were informed that it is made in-house. This may be our new favorite Mexican restaurant. I highly recommend stopping in if you enjoy quality Mexican food.

I got the steak fajitas. They slice the meat into very thin strips, which I’m not a fan of. I look for three things when I order steak fajitas, tenderness, char on the meat, and lime flavor. I guess I expect this after spending 17 years in Houston, Texas. These steak fajitas only had the tenderness. The meat was seasoned like for a normal steak versus fajitas. The grilled onions, green peppers and tomatoes were cooked perfectly. The veggies had some char to them which was nice. The accompanying rice and beans were luke warm at best. This tells me there’s not the proper oversight on what leaves the kitchen. The guacamole had lost that fresh green look to it which was also disappointing. I sat at the bar and I received Excellent service. The bar area was missing the energy I experience at other Mexican restaurants.

This was our first time at Casa Mia, and we will definitely be returning! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. Our bartender, who was also our waitress, was absolutely amazing. So friendly, attentive, and genuinely made sure we were taken care of the entire time. It’s rare to find that level of service, and she made the experience extra enjoyable. The food was on point. Eerything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Portions were generous, and you could tell the dishes were made with care. It’s the kind of food that makes you want to try something new every time you come back. Between the great service, the delicious meal, and the welcoming vibe, Casa Mia has definitely earned a spot on our list of favorites. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Stopped in here on 12/03/22, was at the local clothes store, I am not from the area (From Philly) and I asked for a recommendation for good mexican food. This was the place I was told to go and nowhere else.

Well, let me start off by saying... The staff is 1st rate awesome... Very friendly, energized, and motivated to make you happy.

They brought me chips and Salsa, the salsa was awesome... straight fire (as the kids say). I could eat that like soup by itself it is so good.

I ordered a steak and chicken Fajita combo... I was dying to dig into this. They were busy that saturday and it took a hot minute for that main course to arrive. but they kept my drink filled and the salsa flowing.

WHen the main course arrived it smelled great, the chicken portion of the fajita plate was outstanding... The veggies were not overcooked, they were damn near perfect. However, the steak... not something I would advertise to customers as steak. It was chewy, the texture was not appealing and it had no flavor. It almost seemed like it was older steak and they were just trying to get rid of it, but hey I may not have enjoyed it, so I saved and took it back to my hotel and gave it to my neighbor who brought his pittie on the trip with him and he liked it (the pittie), so I guess that is a plus.

I also ordered some Elote to go, this would be my dinner. This was pretty good. I have had it better at other places but this was tasty and the portion size was amazing.

Compared to another spot I visited on Sunday (12/4/22), Mi Mexico Lindo, I would go with Mi Mexico for the quality of the food main course fajita, but Casa Mia for the Salsa and awesome staff. The staff at the other place were like zombies.

If Casa Mia can work on that steak issue, and the time to receive the main course, I would have given them 5 stars.

FTR, they did apologize for the time it was taking to get my order out to me, and I didn't really complain as I had nowhere to be and I was just playing games on my phone... but people who were seated after me, did get their food before I got mine.

One other note, because of the awesome attitudes of the staff the environment as a whole is extremely...

3 Stars because while the food was very tasty, the service was slow and so disappointing. We just left there so I will share while it is still fresh. We sat down and waited over 5 minutes. We located a drink menu ourselves. A few minutes later the server asked what we wanted for drinks. He brought the drinks back and realized we didn’t have menus for food. He said he would grab those. At least another 5 minutes went by and he stopped to ask us what we wanted to eat. We reminded him that we didn’t have menus yet. He brought those and returned to take our order for food. Once the food came out he did return to check in so that was nice. During the process I did have to ask for a drink refilll, it was not offered. When we finished we did signal him and asked for our check. He didn’t clear the plates. He came back a few minutes later to see how we were doing. We asked for the check again. He went to get it. After a few more minutes the owner stopped by and she asked how everything was and offered us refills. We declined and let her know the food was delicious and said we were waiting on our check. She hopped in Back and made him bring our check. When he did he had to ask what we ordered because he couldn’t remember. All In All it took well over 10 minutes to receive our check after we asked for it and the reminders we had to give to receive it. I really hate being so negative and rarely leave a review that’s not glowing. It’s a bummer because this is so close to home and the food definitely was good. We plan to return to give this another try. My wife had the tacos and loved them. The burrito I had was really tasty. Much better on both than you get at any chain Mexican restaurant. I think the restaurant can improve a great deal by focusing more on point of service or hiring a much more capable wait staff. I’d still highly recommend you give this place a try and hopefully the server experience will be better than ours. We’ll keep our fingers crossed that it is better on our next visit. It did seem like the owner cares a great deal about food quality and service. We will chalk tonight’s experience up to them working...

First time in this restaurant.

Wasn't sure what to expect but I do love Mexican food

right awayThe chips and salsa was quality tasting.

The chips were a tasteful thinner type of chip and a salsa mix was really good too.

I had ordered the three soft tacos with refried beans and rice.

The wait time was not that long. This was late afternoon on a Friday

when I received the tacos The presentation was beautiful and there was slices of cucumbers and radish with the tacos and a lime as well as two different types of sauces

I was blown away How tasty these tacos were.

The vegetables did a good job of bringing out the aroma. While the two different types of salsa were delicious

My tacos were all chicken.

The service was also good as I had two to three different staff people check on me and such.

I am definitely a giant fan of this place and I am definitely going back

the price point for this was very reasonable

customer service....Again, very friendly staff.

It's definitely going to be one of my regular Hangouts now.

Love love. Love this place.

Looking forward to trying out different other foods too.

Oh yeah and the rice and beans were also very tasty.

The refried beans was the perfect consistency. It wasn't watery like I had experience in a couple other places in the past

definitely a five star review

It's truly a hidden secret because it's in the plaza but it's in the back part of the plaza so you don't really see it from the main road which is jungermann road

Thanks again staff of casa Mia a...
