In the drive thru, I ordered one thing and was charged for and given something else. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing so I drove around to the sign again to be sure it wasn't my mistake. It wasn't. This type of thing doesn't typically bother me, so I went to go inside to fix it. The doors were locked due to COVID19, okay, I get it, so I called. And called. And called. No answer for the next 20 minutes as I now sit and wait in line at the drive thru. I'm still not that mad, when its finally my turn, I tell the cashier the story and am told to pull around. I wait for several minutes and when she finally comes to the window, I explain again that I ordered one thing, was charged for and given something else and just want what I ordered. I hand her the bag she originally gave me, she takes my card and receipt. I wait while she talks to the manager who starts getting money out of the drawer. I asked why I was being given a full refund, I was just owed a dollar or so and my food. The manager glares at me, takes back the money blah blah, I'm given my dollar and told to pull up. The manager brings me my food a minute later, says nothing, not even when I say thank you, and returns to the store. The cashier didn't say sorry either. Um okay. Open up the bag to look at the food to be sure it was correct this time, the box isn't even closed. Fine whatever. When I get home, I see that this is just the same box with different chicken. Nothing is hot or fresh because its a full 45 minutes later even though I live 2 miles away. Also, NOBODY WAS WEARING A MASK. The cashier at least had hers on although it was under her chin both times I interacted with her. And why should she bother since the manager didn't at all. I realize in hindsight, I just should have taken my refund and spent my money somewhere else, but I had already invested over 30 minutes at that point. Mistakes happen all the time, but good customer service can usually fix that. I didn't get any of that. Didn't get fresh hot food, can't get my time back. And why did I bother to wear my mask to protect them, when they certainly had no regard to protect their customers. I will...
Read morei’ve been here multiple times for doordash orders that i pick up. today i had two orders there. the first one i walk in and as i’m waiting a worker by the name of nick said hi then my name. i said hi back just to be polite, but had no idea how he knew me by name. as i’m waiting to get the order his co workers are repeating what he said over and over then making some uncomfortable comments about me. i brush it off as i’m only there for my job. when i go outside i tell my partner about it and that it made me uncomfortable, but as a woman in a room with all men who work there i didn’t feel comfortable to say anything. later on when i’m not with my partner i get a decent paying order and go in. if i would’ve known how gross i felt i wouldn’t have taken the order or if my partner was with me i would have her go for me. i walk in where four of the workers are at booths as the store is empty. someone who wasn’t nick then yelled hi then my name really loud. everyone laughed while i brushed it off and said i’m just there for an order. i have to wait around 10 minutes while they are continuing to make fun of me and the situation. the one who yelled hi to me then asked if i previously worked with nick where i shrugged. then nick explained he remembers my name because i’m a doordasher. they continue to yell and talk about me while laughing making me about to cry. nick hands me my order where i try to get out of there as quick as possible. when i get in my car i realized i forgot the drinks and had to go back inside. a woman worker got me my drinks then asked if they were bothering me which i said no i’m fine because all of them were around where i was standing so i felt too uncomfortable to answer honestly. during driving the 10 minutes to this order i cried the whole time then reported it to doordash so they can ban kfc orders from this location to ever reach my phone. i’ve never felt so uncomfortable and embarrassed while just trying to do my job. i hope they see this because this was absolutely humiliating for someone to go through. to the woman who did reach out and ask if they were making me uncomfortable i really...
Read moreNormally I have a pretty easy time with getting mobile orders (the only way I order food), and everyone who works there has been pretty kind to me. I like to order online and pick up in the drive thru so I don’t have to wait and waste gas and time. If there’s a long line I just run in and get it. Well, tonight I ordered and encountered what I consider a problem. I’m in my pajamas with wet hair in a towel on my head, and I’m sick, so I’m not inconsiderate and won’t go inside so as to not spread what I have. (Considerate, right? I wish everyone didn’t go into public when they were obviously sick. I digress.) Well, there is no one in the drive thru, so bonus. I pull up to the speaker and start to say I have a mobile order before I’m cut off by the woman speaking and she tells me that all mobile orders have to come inside. I said I’ve never had a problem with this. (Also, the app says please pick up via drive thru if it’s a late night. It’s not a late night, but I don’t see how this is a problem here. And that makes what she said to me incorrect). So I asked why can’t she just hand me the food in the drive thru. She essentially repeated what she said and then said something about how it’s a policy. (Again, note what I just said about what the app said.) I then said I was sick (because I am), and she proceeded to say with an attitude to pull up even though they don’t do that (they do—they just did the other day for me and several times before that). I said, “Thank you,” and she said with an attitude, “MmHMM.” Oh, okay. Lol. Thankfully, when I pulled up it was the guy who is super nice and funny, and he was really nice (as usual) about it. Seriously though, what the heck? Get off your high horse, lady. It’s just fast food. As long as things get cleaned daily and food is fresh, that’s success. Really, there’s no need to act like that, especially to someone who is contributing to...
