CJ's Backstage - Full Liquor Bar/Restaurant offering great food & entertainment — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

I found this place on Facebook so figured we would check it out well that was a huge mistake.Definately not going back.When we walked in and sat down at the bar the bartender did not say hi or how are you doing today nor did she introduce herself.All she asked was do you know what you would like to drink.There are clicks in that bar other than the regulars if you don't fit in you will not get treated right.And is what really really pissed me off was there was this guy sitting at the bar apparently he's been at the bar for awhile he was overly intoxicated ok but they kept serving him the man really could not stand unless he held on to something I literally watched him start walking away from the bar and almost fell against the table that was behind him so luckily he stumbled back up to the bar than he waited a few minutes than started walking away from the bar the bartender called him back to pay his tab when she handed him his tab she told him to put the tip on there to.Do they realize if he was driving and killed someone or even his self the Law would go after the bartender as well as the Bar.While we were there not one time did they offer to get him an UBER.If we were still there and he started to leave and if he would have fell I would have stayed till the COPS got there only to be there for him.When a bartender or staff sees that someone had to much to drink..STOP SERVING THEM.And never tell customers to put the tip on there to.If someone says that to me you would definitely get cussed out.DO NOT SERVE ANYONE IF YOU SEE THERE INTOXICATED..TO...

Well the seating is none there isn't one ceiling fan on in the place . I watch 1 Girl fall last night not one employee even acknowledged this at all or clean up the area. Then I watched 1 black male older wearing blue thing on head mess with every girl that had a girl with her then watched him knock drinks out of one gurls hand as soon as she bought them nothing Said by staff security walks around no where to be found 90% of the time ..

When he knocked the drink out of her hand it was right in front of the bar station and glass all over no one picked up the glass from the bar I watched a guy with his wife picking up bottles of glass of the bar floor ....lots of people look like they where 19 not 21 never seem anyone i.d . Anyone for a drink.

Positive side the bar tender by the door makes great drinks but he's to busy and has no help for sure rhe rest can't even compare to him at all .

Most people we met they were nice Most tourist but its ok .

Get rid of the games and open that section for more seating its a huge waste of space and it would be a great addition. I

The bathroom were major nasty we checked them both .

The dj is ok the other dj at 11 is better . Music was good also he played great music the second dj .

Overall this place could be better with better cooling bigger seating more attentive bar tenders

Less rift raft in a beach bar .
