Lorene's Fish House — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

First time here and will be last..it is a hole in the wall..but I've eaten at places like this..I usually don't return..and that will be the same with this place..Its over priced and food was just ok..I came based on reviews and curiosity..I got wings and fish sandwich..mac n cheese blah.. garlic rice..rice with bunch of garlic and overcooked..fish was ok but I asked to put lettuce tomatoe and mayo on side as I was taking food to go didn't want fish soggy was told I had to pay extra for them to put on side..meanwhile lettuce was old and wilted and tomatoes mushy..this took away from experience...bread was wet and soggy..very...

They serve breakfast until 12pm but I had been calling back to back for about 10mins and finally got through and conveniently for them it was 12:01. It’s like they let the phone just ring and ring to avoid taking orders not only for breakfast but before closing time as well which the last order is to be taken at 4:30. My son chooses Heavy’s not because the food is better because it’s not, but it’s because of the rude service at Lorene’s and it’s only the one lady who always seems to have an attitude. They’re going to lose more business because of that even though their prices keeps going up. Now they want to charge.50...

I USED to like this place very much until today! Me and some co workers order food through the grub hub app. About 48 dollars in total.

The driver went to go pick up our food and told them they were missing one item. ( A grouper basket). They refused to give her our food that was paid for even with the proof of purchase. If I paid for it, I should get it, Not be denied foe something that was purchased.

I highly suggest that anyone who wants to order online, not do so because they won't keep end of the deal apparently.
