Lottie — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

A wonderful cafe in the very elegant lobby of the Vinoy Hotel and resort. The hotel has been recently updated and will celebrate their 100th year in 2025.

Lottie has coffee, pastries and cakes, salads, sandwiches and more. They also have wines, beers and soft drinks.

Their pastries and cake choices are extensive. It was not an easy choice, but I had a slice of the delicious Vinoy signature cake and an Italian Macchiato. Both were excellent.

Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. There is a stunning Gilhooly chandelier in the ballroom next to Lottie.

Please get with the times and offer allergy friendly, vegan sophisticated deserts. Not just sorbet or packaged gummie bears. A true macaroon in Paris has fruit jam in the center of many of the flavors, you could easily prepare these in at least 3 different choices. For vegan, you could offer a chocolate torte. If you are not able to figure out these recipes, there are plenty of upscale bakeries in St Pete that make a full range of gluten, dairy, nut free and vegan pastries. Love this little cafe in the Vinoy lobby. I enjoy their handcrafted teas and coffees. The baker makes exquisite pastries which are always fresh. My favorite is the scone with a pat of butter and a chai latte. You can lounge on the patio or in one of the seating areas in the lobby or cafe. There is also a small garden outside.
