Update: We finally made it to brunch & and boy, was it amazing! Let's start with drinks, solid bloody mary, and great Noble mimosa, but the stand out was the Chai espresso martini. I don't even really like Chai, but it was just enough to give my favorite cocktail that little extra. For food, we started with my old favorite parmesan truffle fries. They were so good this time we ended up ordering two. The fried green tomatoes with pork belly & pimento cheese are a must order every time I come along with the truffle fries. The Avocado toast was delicious, nice crusty bread, tangy Avocado spread, just delightful. We had the pleasure of Rob as our server again & he was even better this time, which I didn't think was possible. I think I'll have to start requesting him from now on.
Where do I begin.... we had the best time here at Noble Crust the Saturday night before Mother's Day. We arrived at 6:45 & needed a table for 4 adults & one high chair. We were quoted 45 minutes, so we enjoyed the outdoor seating area while we waited. I went to the bar to get drinks & they were delicious! The bartender did get a little irritated & rolled her eyes when I changed my order from one espresso martini to two while she was in the middle of shaking up the original order of one but I too am a bartender & probably would have done the same thing just on reflex...lol. But the drinks were delicious, so I still left a $10 tip on 3 drinks that cost $35. We enjoyed our drinks outside, took pictures & enjoyed each other's company & our table was ready right on time. Our server Robert was on point from the very start! We were greeted promptly & given water & he was back within minutes to get our drink order. I ordered the lavender cocktail with Prosecco, probably the prettiest drink I have ever seen with real lavender petals floating on top. It wasn't my taste but my Mom loved it so I gave it to her & enjoyed another espresso martini, they really are delicious here! For food, we started with the garlic bread in the cast iron skillet served with marinara. Light, fluffy, salty, cheesey goodness. Great start to the meal. My Mom wanted to order another one, but I said we should try some other offerings instead. The crispy brussel sprouts were out of this world! The citrus segments mixed with the hot peppers & the creamy sauce alongside the crispy brussel sprout leaves were just heavenly. When you got a bite with every element, it was truly a perfect offering of flavors & textures. Next came the ceaser salad with that amazing soft boiled crispy egg, heavenly! Although we did have to request some salt & pepper as it is not on the tables but was supplied quickly & took the salad from a 6 to a 10 all day! I mean, what's a good ceaser salad without a ton of fresh cracked black pepper. By the way, I think all ceaser salads should come with a crispy fried egg, just my opinion. For my entree, I opted for two appetizers, the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese & pork belly & the truffle parmesan fries. The fries were probably the best truffle fries I've ever had & I order them everywhere I go that offers them, so I've had a lot. These were superb, hot, crispy, trufflely & the dipping sauce, I can't even put into words how much I enjoyed them. Next the fried green tomatoes with the delicious pimento cheese that was creamy & salty & the pork belly that was crispy & fatty & mixed so well with the tart fried green tomatoes, a truley inspiring dish with just the right flavors playing off of each other. My Mom ordered the bronzed salmon & ate every bite of it & our other dinner companions both enjoyed the meatballs, one of them got the appetizer of meatballs & the other the dinner with spaghetti, there was nothing left on any of our plates really. Overall, it was just a great restaurant experience, especially considering it was a busy Saturday night. The food or the service did not suffer at all & we can't wait to go back soon & try...
Read moreIn short 10/10 would go back AND recommend to others! This was my first visit to Noble and I was pleased with every aspect of my visit. I went with two girlfriends and we sampled each other’s meals.
FOOD- For the appetizer we ordered the highly recommended Skillet Garlic Knots- these were the very best garlic knots/garlic bread/breadsticks I think I have ever had. They are amazing. The bread is tender and stretchy but not chewy or underdone. These knots are liberally topped with melty golden crispy cheese and fresh parsley. Knots are served with a side of marinara to dip in. the marinara has a nice tomato flavor and was a bit on the thin side. However, the knots need no help in the flavor department to begin with! I know I left out garlic, but Noble certainly didn’t! this dish is loaded with a nice roasted garlic flavor. Mac and Cheese – we ordered the mac and cheese because the Philly Cheesesteak Pizza used the mac and cheese cheese as the pizza sauce, how neat! I can’t quite describe the flavor of the mac and cheese cheese sauce but it was creamy and wonderful! Chef Special – Philly Cheesesteak Pizzathe pizza at Noble is superb. The crust is crispy, thin, and still bountiful. They cook the pizza in an actual pizza over to give it that great crust. The cheese sauce was tangy, and the cheesesteak was pilled high. The scallions were super fresh and added a nice contrast against the meat and cheese. Rigatoni and Short Rib Ragu- This was not my meal, but it was tasty. The short rib was tender, and the red sauce tasted meatier than a traditional red pasta sauce. I mistakenly ordered the smoked chicken pasta dish and unfortunately could not eat it. The chicken in this dish was smoky to the point of being over powering. All three of us at the table could not eat the smoked chicken. That being said, Theryn, our waitress was more than happy to take care of that dish. She offered to bring us something else, but the rest of our food was already out, so we passed. So many drinks after our meal! There were just too many great options to stick with the same cocktail multiple times!
DRINKS- We tried the Frozen Orange Creamsicle which tastes exactly like it sounds. It was a nice creamy orange dessert drink. Frozen Watermelon Martini – a lovely blend of tart and sweet. The perfect end of summer drink. I also tried a berry/whiskey cocktail and it was my favorite! I did not get the name of the drink. I told Theryn my preferences and asked her to bring me something tasty and she did!
Ambience – really chill relaxed environment. Beautiful aroma throughout the restaurant. Great soft lighting outside at night. Overall comfortable and welcoming.
Staff- The host was nice, there was a wait however high tops and the bar are open seating so we helped ourselves. Our waitress Theryn was wonderful. My party had never been to Noble before and she certainly made us feel like family! She was funny, good with drinks and was on top of our...
Read moreMy partner and I came in yesterday to have a nice kickoff to a month long work trip in the Tampa area. And we went to this place because it was a highly reviewed one around here. Ordered drinks, appetizer and entrees. For appetizer we got the meatballs. The quality of ground beef was not good and I had to spit out two gristles which made it disgusting. And then we were sitting and waiting for our entrees to arrive for at least 30 minutes. We just ordered salmon and chicken marsala. We’re sitting and waiting and our waitress Glen comes and says: “Would you like to order anything else?” And we’re like: “Well we ordered salmon and chicken marsala.” And she said: “ Right, maybe you would like something else in the meantime?” We said no. And she asked: “How are the wines?” What we immediately got is that she just forgot to place the order for our entrees and tried to get out of this situation by immediately being super nice and awkward asking us if we want something else and how the wines were. I knew she was going to forget something because she didn’t write down our order in her book or the handheld that she uses to take orders. Just “remembered it”
Our entrees finally arrived we swept them away quick because we were hungry and waited for so long. Then waitress came and we ordered pecan chocolate pie dessert which tasted like cinnamon which wasn’t what was expected.
Then she brought us the check and had us pay on the handheld and then waited while we pay and put our tip on there. We felt forced to tip (which had preselected a MINIMUM of 20%!) because she was there. So we left mad and unsatisfied.
In college I worked as a waitress myself so I know how this whole thing works.
Overall feedback: there was no apology, no comp for anything, the service was slow. The waitress was nice but timid. Seemed like she was not trained properly or something. However would walk around and talk to tables. We also sat right next to the cash registers where waiters put in the orders so didn’t feel comfortable sitting there unless you like catching glances and being overheard.
We thought it was a waste of time and food didn’t taste good, wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! Unfortunate because we figured the service would be nice at one of the highest rated restaurants...
