Noisy Crane Tea House — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

One thing I love about Saint Petersburg is the culture we have here now, which includes different restaurants, etc. I stumbled upon this place by attending a book event, which was terrific for Author Jessica Juliano. I love the Tea Culture. I had an amazing tea called " Forest Dew Matcha " in a bowl, traditionally as they do in Japan, with no sweetening added to my tea with a delicious Brown Buttered Mochi Muffin. As I sipped this tea, it took me to another place and woke up my senses. My new favorite tea spot! Everything is very high quality, no additives or flavorings, just the natural tea and herbs. KC is very knowledgeable and I enjoyed hearing about the history of tea houses and what makes each tea special. I can't tolerate much caffeine so she made some suggestions and I loved them. The matcha is delicious, the oat and honey herbal tea is very calming - highly recommend if you want to chill out. My partner had the chai latte which is out of this world amazing! Of course my eye and novelty was drawn to the “ducksh*t aroma” tea. Funny how the tables have turned in attaining attention for something you try to steer it away from.

Maybe the perfect analogy for this unassuming shop that blends in with the residences around it- but I assure you there’s more comfort and true love that pours out of the doors here.
