I've been coming to Paisano's since I was a kid(I am 31 now) and it has been not only a reliable, go to but a must have... must visit...no need to even ask about dinner type place being from the Northeast area. Well as I got older I did move away and got to visit less an less. Well last night I was in the area and there was not even a question on what we were going to eat. Not exactly sure what or even how it happened but my visit was the WORST MOST DISAPPOINTING dinning experiences I can recall. Now it was a Wednesday night and the place wasn't busy by any means, not like they can get. The FIRST horrible part of the night was our waitress, older Blondish hair with tattoos. Her attitude was terrible and it took forever to get her to acknowledge us and longer for our first drinks. 2nd Horrible part was the wait time. Almost 1 hour for 2 small pizzas and a spaghetti with meatball and sausage. They did have help wanted signs up but even that was no excuse for a hour wait in a half filled restaurant. An 3rd... we we Finally did get our food it was the WORST thing I've ever seen or tasted coming from that kitchen. 1 pizza was ok, and I mean edible but it was a meat pie and the taste of the toppings were just so bland and tasteless it seemed like the quality of meat they used went out the door. 2nd pizza, a plain cheese was completely white on the bottom and was just raw doughy mess. I'm not even sure how they sent it out after cutting it and feeling how mushy the pizza was. I sent it back and received the same pizza back with all the cheese rolled under all the slices since it was just shoved back into the oven to brown bottom then thrown back on my plate. Pretty ridiculous. 3rd item spaghetti with a meatball and a piece of sausage. The FIRST and most obvious thing was this arrived 10 minutes after our pizzas where at the table. The 3rd person in our party just watched us eat with nothing for themselves for 10 minutes. After it finally comes out we see the sausage was cut into tiny rings, almost like topping sausage for pizzas. If you go to an Italian restaurant and order a side of Italian sausage it shouldn't be cut like that. The meat sauce had a burnt taste to it almost like they burnt the bottom them just stirred and mixed it all together. Ate maybe 5 bites of spaghetti and couldn't eat anymore. After another 10 minutes and 20 minutes after pizza was out comes the side of garlic bread. Now after the spaghetti was pushed across the table the 3rd person in party was excited to see some garlic bread as they ate 1/4 of the spaghetti they ordered and takes a bite of the garlic bread to only realize it's ice cold as if it Sat somewhere the whole time all the other food had been sent to the table. It was an all around LOUSY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE and after paying my $60 tab with our waitresses who offered nothing for the inconvenience we unfortunately will not return to the restaurant. For over 17 years of being a loyal customer there is no way I should of had a experience like that. Shame on...
Read moreMy husband and I were frequent visitors but I will never return after the latest situation. We had been dining here at least once a week,we would usually sit with Amanda or Dani. We had been in New York for a few months, just before we had left Dani had gotten sick and my husband was able to get her an appointment at his oncologist friend with St Michael's. When I asked Heidi how she was doing she told us that it was all made up that she had gone to the hospital and they never heard of her and that she was never a patient there. This was extremely upsetting to me first cause my husband went out of his way to call a friend to get Dani seen and also how excited Heidi was to be sharing this information.Anyways about 2-3 weeks later we had dinner with his oncologist friend,my husband apologized for recommending someone who didn't need his services. He told us then that yes she was his patient and that she did indeed need his services and that my husband's recommendation came at a perfect time that the other dr she had been seeing wanted to remove her entire breast and that was not needed but due to patient confidentiality laws he was not able to continue the discussion. I had let this whole situation eat at me for two weeks wondering why,now it's apparent that Heidi was just spreading unnecessary childish gossip but had my husband not known the dr we would have felt extremely upset and taken advantage of,Im sure we tipped a bit more than normal due to her situation. Also seeing how happy she was in trying to make sure that we knew and then I heard her relaying the story to the table behind us, it was obvious that she was embellishing the story as she told it.at one point she had told them that she had another employee call St Anthony's and they said who no we never heard of her,she has never ever been a patient here.A hospital would never say that.also it was St Michael's not Anthony's and they do their outpatient at the carillon o.p.Center. Anyways my husband absolutely loves the linguini with clam sauce and I love the sausage pizza with garlic crust but I have an extremely bad taste in my mouth that we won't be back. That was so uncalled for. When I asked how she was doing she should have just said that she didn't know how Dani was doing or just say she is fine. I have to say that was ridiculous and uncalled for. And quite possibly illegal. We are trying mama Mia this evening. I will...
Read moreAfter hearing rave reviews from friends we decided to check it out. We arrived at 6:02 pm on Saturday night were seated at a booth by the game room and Kristina was are first waitress, we waited 20 minutes for her to arrive at our table and placed are drink and appetizer order a bottle of wine and the antipasto salad. At 6:47 pm I had to get up to track Kristina down, she stated that the wine was being opened at the bar and that she wears a beeper to tell her when food is ready in the kitchen. At 7 pm she finally showed up with an unopened bottle of wine and had trouble removing the cork, I inquired if they were growing the lettuce for the salad and she stated that it was not ready yet. We decided to place our dinner order at this time Veal Parmesan with a side of Eggplant Parmesan for me and Chicken Marsala for my date. 15 minutes later still no antipasto salad I had to find Kristina and ask about the antipasto, she stated that some other waitress stole the antipasto, we were given a new waitress at this time Devin, who proceeded to bring the antipasto right away. The manager visited the table at this time as well as several other tables in our section to inform us that the restaurant had many to go orders and that was the reason our food and service was lacking. The table behind us had to wait an hour for 2 draft beers. By this time there was a running joke among the many disgruntled diners about how long it could possibly take to get something out of the kitchen in between to go orders or maybe we should phone our orders in to get priority. Devin delivered our dinners at about 7:30 pm it was not worth the wait, The Veal (was it veal, not sure) had no flavor whatsoever, the Eggplant was disgusting, the Chicken Marsala not much better. We did order the canolis for desert 2 pinkie sized store bought bland pastries. While Devin was great, the manager and Kristina were quite lacking and the food, well we could have had a better meal at home with...
