Huge variety of food items in a super clean environment! I was worried to go to a buffet due to COVID precautions, but after stepping into this restaurant, all of those worries melted away. The layout is very open and spread apart, while there are tons and tons of seating areas to choose from. When we went, around 1-2 pm, there was virtually nobody there and it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves! A majority of the food was delicious, though some options were either stale (especially the desserts), cold (like the dim sum/steamed dumplings), or simply not fresh-tasting. The noodles, krab Rangoon, general Tso's chicken and soup were my favorites. The honey chicken was hard and very dry. I liked that they had a salad bar but there wasn't really all that many options for it besides sauces. They could definitely improve this area with other vegetables and more toppings. Also, the entire sushi bar lacked labels for what it was, which was unfortunate because I feel like that would be the area where emphasis on labels is most important. It LOOKS like one side of the sushi bar has all the raw items and the other is mostly cooked, but when I was attempting to select safe options for myself (I can't eat raw fish) I asked 2 different employees to clarify which ones had raw fish vs which was were cooked and they couldn't even answer that. That's alarming, so I skipped all the sushi. Besides that, I really liked this place!

No. Just run. If not, you’ll be running to the bathroom! My family went here. Out of 11 people that ate, at least thee ended up sick to their stomach. At least it hit them once they got home because using the bathroom there would have probably given them another reason to get sick. I understand that maybe culturally these foods can be served at room temperature but most Americans don’t have the digestive system trained for that. I’m glad I looked at the reviews and chose not to join them but very sad it costed me being able to spend time with them. I wasn’t going to pay just to sit at the table. My family split the bills by household, which was three checks. They still charged the 15% gratuity fee. Had they not charged that, they probably would have gotten tipped more. I was told the employees were friendly but the food was not. My mom ordered hot tea and couldn’t drink it all so my sister finished it. They charged double for it. I hate writing bad reviews. I just hope it saves someone’s intestines from torture. For goodness sakes Super Buffet, clean the bathroom and put your sushi on ice!

This restaurant is a hostile venture and belong to the National Hostility Industry. First time to this restaurant because of a kid birthday party invitation. The host and the manager/cashier initiated a hostile confrontational look and questionnaires. Then pointed to the outside door said to wait out there. We thought that they don't understand and don't speak English. We explained to them that we have a reservation for birthday party a week ago. Another waitress came with a hostile attitude and told us to go to another empty section to seat there. Then another waitress came. They did not even bother listen to our explanation that we'd reserved for a party of nearly 20 people a week ago. She did not care and only to ask each of the kids how old they are. We ignored their hostile attitude, we didn't say anything in respect to our host family and the birthday kid.

The foods is mediocre. No water serve at all. No wait person to our party. We had to chase after the workers to order tea. No service of any kind.

Definitely this restaurant earned the HOSTILE AWARD from the Hostility Industry Association of Tampa Bay - St. Petersburg.

Congratulation to Super Buffet Sushi Hibachi for receiving the 2025 Hostile Award.

If you want to have an argument to ruin your day and destroy your taste of dinner to eat mediocre foods, come to this restaurant, you will not be disappointed. You will enjoy the hostile and nasty attitude from them. That's a GUARANTEE.

Award date...

Ok... It's all you can eat. I wasn't expecting a 5 star experience. Wife and I ate there once or twice when it was the old place it was so so at best but at least it was edible. We were in the mood to try the "new" owners take on things. We read and laughed over the reviews lol... What the heck we said. Well we both wish we stayed home. The reviews that stated a lot of the food was ice cold... horrible tasting and sometimes gross? Spot on reviews. To be honest we did go a bit later... just after 7pm but they are open till 10 and should provide good quality edible food. All of the food had a sitting around glossy look... the fried lice was cooked sometime last year and reheated daily since, judging by the taste. Pepper steak and Gen whoever chicken had to be quietly split out because it had a foul taste 😟 . Absolutely disgusting food. I didn't feel we should pay the bill...but the ladies that work there were very nice and my wife didn't want me to get upset...or we would have told the manager and not paid. Some may ask why we didn't just tell the manager...in my opinion and experience...they know exactly what I'm talking about... absolutely a waste of time explaining something they already know about and shouldn't be doing. Nasty to the max. At least the one Pepsi I had was cold and tasty 😆 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 five...
