UPDATE 3/19/25 The park is all cleaned up and everything it's absolutely more wonderful than it was before there are so many people and families out walking and enjoying the park and all the camps and everything are all gone. Really enjoy it. Previous Review; Wow after 20 plus years of walking in this park today was the first time that I turned around and came back to the car. Gotten to the point where at the large picnic shelter there's a homeless camp and then there's a couple of people that are chronically sleeping in the park. the people sleeping in the park aren't the problem it's the creepy people hanging at the big shelter. it just doesn't feel safe and then there's a BIG dude that hangs around the side of the baseball/softball bleachers almost daily, off to the side so you have to be aware someone's there. Super creepy! He watches the women really close and when he sees one he'll target them follow them...too closely. One day he walked up to a young woman coming over the bridge on the north east side of the park and he didn't see it but she had two German shepherds coming over the bridge behind her and as soon as he saw those dogs he turned and Left fast that's when I knew he was up to no good. it's just not safe anymore it's always been sketchy for The last few years. but now it's getting outrageous. nope. There are other parks I can go to to walk. It was just so nice being by the library. Hopefully they'll clean it up. Everyone has a right to use our parks. This is just getting those Minneapolis / San Francisco vibes. And it's not the elderly homeless that used to be there. these are young...

I was walking a kitten on a leash and an old woman in a babushka starts screaming "get away from me!" I'm sure the Little League parents love it though. It's not bad for Pokémon.
I just don't know why the police are always in the parking lot and never getting out of their vehicle to move these people along. They stay here every single night, rain or shine, and they bring their friends, and they do not clean up after themselves, and they do use the water fountains to wash their laundry.
Also, please don't ever feed a squirrel because you will have 35 of them chasing you. Apparently that rule is not...
