I thought the other reviews about portion size were being dramatic but sadly I was wrong. I ordered a garlic steak bowl to go yesterday, my order ended up being over $20 which I was willing to pay to receive the bowl shown in the photos on the sweetgreen website. I went and picked it up, brought it home, and this is what I got (photos include the picture they show on the website, right when I opened the bowl, and after I removed the sauces from the bowl). Six sweet potatoes, the smallest scoop of crusty meat I’ve ever seen, six cherry tomato halves, a laughable amount of broccoli, and a a tiny scoop of rice. For $20 this is a ridiculous amount of food to receive and not to mention it was completely flavorless and the meat was so crusty and dry. For their second day open this is extremely disappointing, especially when there are plenty of other great bowl options in the area (Cali, Naked Farmer, Bolay, Poppo’s, etc.) I truly hope they read these reviews and make some changes otherwise I can’t imagine they’ll stay open very long. I feel like I got completely ripped off and would like my $20+ back.

The outside of the building is in a cutesy part of DTSP and the inside is less than stunning. It wasn’t how I pictured it to look, I guess I expected more of an organic feel and earthy tone but it was cold and bleak feeling. It took a couple minutes before I was greeted even though there were a total of three people on the restaurant side, and three workers behind the counter. It was my first time in, so I was trying to read the big menu on the wall. The writing was pretty small and the menu is high up and I’m not blind or old I promise LOL. I went with the salmon bowl which had white rice, miso glazed salmon, cucumbers, crunchy onions, nori seasoning and cashew dressing. The bowl was very basic tasting: the white rice was bland, cucumbers and onions had no seasoning or oomph to them, the salmon was a little dry. The only part I enjoyed was the nori seasoning and the cashew dressing was very pleasant! Hoping it was a fluke, maybe will try again…

Grabbed lunch at Sweetgreen and got the Harvest Bowl—so dang good. The mix of kale, sweet potatoes, and goat cheese just hits right, and you can tell everything’s super fresh. Love that they work with local farmers and partners they actually trust. The vibe inside is modern and clean, and everything’s made from scratch, which you don’t see often these days. What I really love, though, is what they stand for. They’re all about sustainability and making a positive impact, which makes the whole meal feel even better. Definitely one of my go-to spots now.

So exciting there's a Sweetgreen's in St. Pete! I've been living in Los Angeles for over a decade and been going to Sweetgreen's, at different locations they have) for years. Now there's a Sweetgreen (healthy place) option in St. Pete yay!! A super place to eat, that's healthy for salads with a variety of other delicious options. That are really great quality. Brenda, today made me a super salad and was so helpful and kind. She made sure my Mom got to try a slice of bread that was just out of the oven. Thank you.:)) Also, there's some Summer salads with peaches and goat cheese, that end in a week and a half that are so delicious too! Make sure if you've never been here before to download the app to get points. It's so worth it and you can always eat half later or bring it somewhere. Plus, they use cardboard packaging, which is even more responsible for the waste situation. PS- they have wild caught salmon, which is so much more healthier. PSS-Also, There’s nice seating outside under a shade of tree...

Went in an hour before close. My gf wanted white rice, we were staring right at it…

We stood there for 10 minutes and weren’t even greeted. When she finally came over to us to start our order, the first thing she says was “we’re out of this, out of that, out of white rice. “

She claimed the white rice was for online orders for the rest of the night only..

I’ve worked in customer service at Fresh kitchen, and even fine dining. In store should ALWAYS get priority. Not to mention that’s the first thing she said to us without saying hello.

Food looked dry, not stirred, and one of the lady’s was borderline yelling at a guest saying “hello hello?!?!” as they didn’t realize they had to choose a sauce.

We immediately left. Enjoying a good meal should always start with decent customer service and a good energy. I think everyone can agree no matter how good the food is, if the employee is rude, it makes the experience so much worse. Probably won’t be back...
