Fun way to have ice cream (rolled). I had the pink explosion -- rose and strawberry flavors -- and it was delicious. I was worried that this style of ice cream would be hard or have chunks of ice, but it was creamy and flavorful. It's cool that a sauce, whipped cream, and 3 toppings come with your purchase. Also, the staff was friendly and did a great job.

However, they only offer 1 size, and in both my husband and my opinions, it was just too much ice cream. We each ended up wasting the last roll or two of ice cream because we couldn't finish them (and I never do that!). We would have opted for smaller sizes if we'd had the choice. Plus, we didn't even use all of those included toppings, so we were paying for more than we got. Also, the quality of their toppings is wanting. Hershey's syrup? Cool whip? I would hope that, for the price, we could get something like Ghirardelli chocolate sauce and real whipped cream. Lastly, the Costco folding chairs felt a little unprofessional and killed the otherwise trendy ambience.

My lady just got back from Las Vegas visiting her sister. She saw the 22 below sign and started to tell me about their ice cream. I said we'll pull in I want to try it. Absolutely wonderful! The girl there told me that this was a Taiwanese special served by Street vendors in Thailand and very very popular. One visit and you'll see why the Japanese take seaweed sheets roll up rice and raw fish put a little soy sauce on it and call it dinner. The thailanders take ice cream a giant frozen pizza dish take your ingredients in the flavors you want whether it's bananas strawberries you name it they'll make it and for seeds to do a deal with a couple of spatulas or turnovers spreads it out scrapes it up spreads it out scrapes it up till it's thoroughly mixed. Then spreads it out and scrape she's very very long flat strips of your ice cream frozen very hard rolls it up and puts all those in a bowl like logs little whip cream some toppings and you're in heaven! It seemed chaotic there; one person didn't know they were out of something (bubble waffle) and had to issue a refund after that employee asked a coworker how to make it.

It was an inefficient operation with about a 20 to 30 mins wait time. They don't ask your name or use a number system; they just call out the order, which on the day I went had more than one person order the same thing, so it was a lot of polite "I think its your's, you were here first".

The other issue was not knowing what was in the base cream that was used for the ice cream rolls. It tasted funny and the texture was off, so I asked them what was in it. All they could say was it's gluten free, dairy free vanilla base.

They should have more than one base that is offered to customers. Ice cream in my opinion tastes better with real cream or milk.

The toppings were stale and were mostly candy or crushed cookies.
