This place Rocks. Here's my complaints in regards to this place. One strobe lights NEVER A GOOD IDEA. See people that have eclipse And have seizures on regular basis, and even some that don't but have ocasional ones, the vision of a strobe light actually medically can induce seizures. When medical staff or doctors want to see about Brian activity in a elliptic patient. They lay you down put patches that are connected to wires on your head that read the brain waves. Then they clockwork orange your body in this chair and put you in a dark room with a none the less strobe light on. Usually don't take long and I personally will start to have a grand mal seizure. I would suggest stopping this feature especially during blacklight nights as its pitch black except the blacklights and all the strobe lights going off. This is the reason I stopped bring my Neice here because I didn't want to have a seizure with my Neice with me. I would love to see a substitute for it because it's fun idea the while blacklight thingies. Maybe different colors that switch slowly so not to trigger that part of the brains hemisphere to seize out. Kinda like chemekta community college not sure if I spelled that right. Or the west salem bridge for pedisterians. Both are so beautifully orchestrated with the simplest of an idea yet the impact is very calming and fun. I love there displays makes me feel warm and fuzzy. My apologies I got off topic. My point is that your facility is awesome and a great outlet for people in the community. I like your punch card options. The staffing is mostly all very polite and helpful. The lighting needs work. Less state office work feel, more fun and ambiance lighting. The music is in my opinion to low, and some of it is not fitting. The point is too get people moving, having fun, exercise, togetherness. Make some new ideas about themes, music and families all participating. Instead of mom and dad sitting sideline while there two kids one be jumping other is trampling over the other kids. Get some structured activities that encourage unity and yet still having fun while exercising or getting out the energy some are in need of eliminating. This place is truly an amazing concept. It just needs a little...
Read moreI was there while some dad had a meltdown about his teen being “assaulted” while at GetAir. Reality? Two kids were playing dodgeball — yes, dodgeball, where the whole point is to throw balls at each other and try to dodge them — well his kid was hit in the ear. It was clearly an accident. The 12 year old who threw it apologized immediately. His teen did cry briefly but was fine just a few minutes later and kept telling his dad that he didn’t want to leave.
But his dad completely lost it. Yelled at the 12-year-old like he’d committed a felony, called him names, and then demanded a full refund while making a huge scene in front of staff, other parents, and a bunch of kids. Honestly, I was embarrassed for his teen — who kept trying to calm his dad down and looked like he just wanted to disappear.
I was so impressed with their staff during this grown man's tantrum. They stayed calm, de-escalated, gave the dad an icepack AND a full refund just to keep the peace — even though it was obvious the incident didn’t warrant it. They handled it with professionalism and an immense amount of patience. It was obvious to everyone watching that this dad was simply trying to take advantage and score a free refund....
Read moreGet Air is a large, well put together place, where people of all ages can have fun & be active on a rainy day. Sadly, they do not accomodate all ages fairly. The only space for small sized children is a few curved trampolines that aren't really made for jumping. In addition, there are foam pits to jump in but they're for all ages. It is very limiting for a small child that is more active or more able to jump. While I realize that it is difficult to find a safe environment for the little ones it is also very disappointing. I would suggest that 4-6 year olds could jump with a parent on a small tramp square OR there would be 3 or 4 small tramp squares for them to actually jump. I will not spend money on an activity that is essentially not a trampoline. The youngest eligible age to actually jump is 46 inches or probably 6 or 7 years old. I'm very sad about this as I think the concept is wonderful. That's the reason for 3...
