DON’T EAT HERE!
Message to the owner/manager: You sir need to re-evaluate your behavior and customer service standards. You are a prime example of terrible management. For this only being your 6th day, you are not off to a good start. Most disappointing $56 I’ve ever spent.
Food was good, but average. If it were just for the food I would come back.
Service was great. Waitress was attentive and polite. She did her job very well.
Appetizer. We ordered the short ribs - $6. In all there was about 4 bites of dry, over cooked meat. I do not recommend.
Ramen. I asked if I could substitute the teriyaki pork for the pork belly. The waitress submitted my order then came back to let me know that there were no substitutions, but for $1.25 I could add the pork belly. I ended up settling for teriyaki pork minus the teriyaki. When my ramen was presented to me it had ONE bite of pork belly on it. The bite of pork belly was no thicker than my NAPKIN! When I questioned the waitress she stated she herself paid for the “up charge ”... I asked if this was the normal serving size for the up charge. Yes it was. $1.25 gets you a single bite of thin pork belly 😦
Owner. I had asked to speak with the manager regarding this policy. I pointed out that I was disappointed in the no substitution policy and pointed out that it was not stated anywhere in their menu. I also questioned the serving size of the pork belly, he defended the serving size. I gave praise to my waitress for HER efforts at customer service. The owners response? “What do you want me to do about it?” WHAT DO I WANT YOU TO DO ABOUT IT?!? Are you kidding me? How inconsiderate. I have never seen a worse representation of customer service ever. I said, “As a patron that ate the meal, I will just pay my bill and leave.”
I’m torn! I love ramen but I can’t support poor business practices such as these.
Note: I was never seeking to have my meal for free. I was never seeking a discount. A simple apology and compassion for my frustration would have done so much. I also tipped my...

Read moreDon't get me wrong, the food was good. But genuinely the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I got better customer service at Wendy's when they forgot my fries during rush hour than this place when it was literally me, my friends, and another table of 3 in the entire restaurant. The server was incredibly rude and passive aggressive the entire time. When I realized I didn't have enough money to pay for both me and my friend, we asked the server if we could split the bill so that way I could afford what we ordered. He was INCREDIBLY passive aggressive but agreed to. He took our empty plates and we could hear him like almost throwing them in the dish bin out of anger. I understand being annoyed, I work customer service, splitting bills after the fact is annoying. But never have I once EVER taken it out on a customer, especially when it's dead inside (I can see why). When we paid, my friend apologized to him and he was explaining complications in splitting the bill, but he was saying it with the worst attitude ever. Food was great, whoever cooked it, delicious. But our server just threw the vibe, stomped on it, put it in a blender with spoiled milk, and served it to us like customer service isn't...
