So this is probably the third time I've been here. Overall, not a bad place but the owner is probably the most ignorant, self-absorbed jackass I've ever met. My to friends and I were trying to find something to do so we went from Duffy Hangar (Nice little dive bar) to Jammers. Now, we are in our thirties and one of my friends was visiting from Arizona. The moment he asked for ID he started giving my Arizona friend the third degree(asked for her name and birth date) and then he rudely advised her that it was against the law to have an Arizona ID. It was the most awkward and unwelcoming feeling I've ever had at a crappy little bar. So due to the jackassery, I will never visit this location again, I will advise all my business partners, friends and family not to visit this place and I definately encourage anyone reading this to not give this man your money as he is a gigantic tool. (He also wont allow people to sing Total Eclipse of the Heart... who does that?!) And they charge for water which, again,...
Read moreI never give bad reviews. I work in a fast food place and I understand how things go. But I went to Jammers with my girlfriend and it was pretty dead, I say down for a while and went back to the bar for another drink. I wait up there with my girlfriend for about 5 minutes while the bartender was talking to his friend sitting down a couple seats. Eventually I told my girlfriend "maybe they don't want our money" to her quietly and we sat back down. The bartender then followed us to our table and asked us what we would like, I told him a lifesaver, he didn't know what it was and said to try another drink and turned his back and walked away before even given a chance to reply. There were no other orders or drinks to be made either. I went up and closed my tab, but while I was sitting down to play pool the bartender brought food to another customer and he asked for ketchup for his fries, the bartender told him that "normally people ask so he doesn't have to make 16 trips." - I couldn't believe how poor the...
Read moreWell I show up to spend some of my hard earned money and according to the hours posted here and on the door they should have opened but it's 10mins after 11 and doors are locked up tighter then a nuns butt. This isn't the 1st time this has happened. A note left on the door would at least be something but for us regulars showing up to locked doors and no note at least saying when they'll be deciding to open would at least be something. I've been a patron here for many years and it's seem like more and more I've been taking my money down the street. Not by choice but because my hours that I work govern when I can have my time. So it's looking like Jammers is losing a darn hard working guy who spends more in there then I'd like to admit.and away I go down where my money is more appreciated I guess. Keep up the hard work guys. Lord forbid the pool.tables go down you'd probably be out...
