Always Fresh, Cooked Perfectly and Great Service! I have never been even slightly disappointed in any aspect of my experience here. The stainless steel trim on everything is awesome but could use a little polish.. other than that it's one of the consistently clean restaurants I've ever eaten in. The Food, and I've tried things from the different lunch and breakfast menus is consistently cooked exactly as I've ordered it and served quick and hot. I normally would go into more detail about the food but honestly I feel confident that anything you order you will enjoy. The service has always been personable, quick and friendly in my opinion no matter how busy it was. The coffee isn't too bad either and the orange juice was yummy, not that watered down stuff found at some other places. Go early enough and you can walk in like a King or Queen and sit anywhere you want. Go during the busy hours and you'll feel like Oliver as you stand outside sadly staring into the large windows watching others eat for what can seem like days or weeks even... Look at me..I'm still here...jk.. All in all its one of the best diners in the history of earth and you should try it. I ate alone and took a picture of the empty seat across from me so you can see what it's like to be lonely. Enjoy.

From the moment you walk into the diner, you are automatically transported to the fifties era. Walking in the diner was like walking into a scene of the show Happy Days or becoming part of a scene in the movie Grease. The atmosphere itself gets 5 stars for keeping up with the theme, especially since all they played was music from the 1950s to the 1960. Our waiter Amanda was a complete ball of joy who treated us with respect and dignity. She came to our table every five minutes to ask us if we needed anything else and attended us exactly the way I waiter should. If you go to the diner, I highly recommend that you ask for Amanda. The floats are superb. I went with my sister and she got the Cherry Coke float and I got the coffee float. The coffee float was so good that I had to ask for another serving. The meatloaf tasted like the way your grandmother would make it from back in the 1960s and every side was made fresh to order, including the french fries, mashed potatoes, vegetables, and especially the baked beans. I had the Jack Daniel's Black Raspberry steak tips breakfast and it was some of the best steak tips I've ever eaten. The portions are big and the prices are small just the way it should be. The only downfall is that the restaurant is only open until 8 p.m. and I wish it could have been a 24-hour diner because I know people would choose it over Denny's and IHOP. The atmosphere was very family-oriented and there is something for everyone in the menu. I especially have to recommend of the bread pudding. Though it's not on the menu, you would have to ask for it. The bread pudding itself had a good amount of chocolate chips baked inside and topped with a vanilla bean sauce that was to die for. I highly recommend this place, especially if you want great food, with great quality and with great prices. Best place that I've been to in a while.

This place is wicked cool inside! We tried a few of their breakfast options and it was delicious! Nancy was a pleasure to have as our server as well, she didn’t hound us while we enjoyed our meal and the scenery of nostalgic retro decor around us. Heck, her personality and vibe even fit in with the theme which made it more aesthetically pleasing. HOWEVER, due to the popularity of this restaurant they may have a long line resulting in a wait list you have to sign up for. (It would be more convenient and appreciated if the wait list sign up thing was available online instead of having to show up to sign up and leave (leave because there’s not enough waiting space)) AND, I hope they do a better job sweeping underneath the tables before seating another group…. Nothings worse than stepping in squishy sticky mystery food when you’ve just scooted into your seat :(

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. If you mess around and have it at Mary Ann's, it will likely be the only meal of the day. Upon entering the diner you will be taken in by the decor and music from the 50's and 60's. The car motif is also attention grabbing. I ordered the Hungry Boy Breakfast although there were many other options like omelettes, steak tips, as well as lunch and dinner items too. I've gone to usual breakfast chains for years but have never had scrambled eggs with cheese made to perfection like I did at Mary Ann's. Clean diner, fast service, generous portions (I couldn't eat all of my breakfast...the pancakes were huge!) at an affordable price. Check out Mary Ann's Diner when you're in Salem NH.

Great Service, even when busy! Came in for breakfast with coworkers; and we were shocked at how full it was, on a week day!! 😮 We were served coffee right away; and our server came back often to check in with us as we waited. He made an effort to get to know each of us; and I can see why MaryAnn's has so many regulars! The music was lively Rockabilly that matched the 50s Decorations. Breakfast was yummy and satisfying. All around great experience.
