Restaurant was slammed with online orders that all came at once and the wait was significant for all customers. Also the air conditioning wasn't working properly during one of the hottest days we've had. 5 stars for the one sushi chef for working steadily thru orders while maintaining quality standards and supporting their coworker. 5 stars for the new server who was overwhelmed, but jumped in to assist and manage the restaurant flow as best as possible. Honestly, I felt bad for those two kids working in that heat and doing their best. My overall rating is a message for management. Restaurants get busy, things breakdown, and sometimes people have to wait. No big deal. But this seems to be a pattern of understaffing while not supporting employees noted in previous reviews. Declining or holding all 3rd party app and online orders until the staff could catch up would be the appropriate thing to do for your staff and customers. I've spent a lot of money at various Momiji locations because my family likes it, and though it's not my preference it's usually consistent. But I was really put off by this experience. Support your staff, the backbone of your business and put policies in place to make sure staff are able to operate your business in the manner I assume you want to be represented. Do not overwork and overwhelm the couple of employees you have and drive customers away in an attempt to maximize profit without having the needed labor...
Read moreWell, well, well, what a day! My husband and I were on a quest to find a decent meal, and after being snubbed at another restaurant, we strolled into this joint and were greeted like royalty. I mean, seriously, I felt like the queen of Sheba!
We ordered our food, and when it came out, it looked too good to be true. Unfortunately, my gluten-free radar didn't go off, but lo and behold, the staff were absolute gems, and they went above and beyond to fix my order. And let me tell you, the end result was simply scrumptious.
To top it all off, the place was as clean as a whistle. I could practically see my reflection in the shiny surfaces. All in all, it was a truly delightful dining experience, and I can't recommend this...

They were very kind to me and my passenger & even got a Momiji Lanyard for being at their opening day. I gave 3 star because I ordered the lunch special which came with 2 orders of sushi.🍣🍣 I ordered the BBQ Eel & Blackened Tuna. I received the Tuna(which was delicious) but not the eel.
