Today is Saturday I just came in this place to grab some 7 grain toast with butter and a small latte
First, let me say if there is a place that can beat this place in service. I would probably say it’s impossible.
I walked in and saw two individuals doing the register, and they answered my question about the types of toast bread they had
Actually asked what kind of bagels they had and I said oh they made locally or do they come in a bag?
I just wanted to see if they were homemade or some thing and that kid Lucas and Lisette were very helpful and actually said oh let me go check let me go ask for you in back to the manager if they are made locally
They were very polite and professional, and took my order in which I got a small latte and seven grande toast well done
I then walked down to the area that they have the spoons and sugar and sat down
Literally within two minutes a food runner delivered my toast and it was well done crispy and amazing along with a pad of butter for each piece of toast
Then, literally a minute later, my small latte came out and another guy came and brought it
While I was eating, someone came over and said, is there anything else I can help you with and then I asked if they had any jam and The gentleman said, I believe they have strawberry and blueberry, and let me check for you
He then came right back and said they had blueberry and grape and I said may I please have one of each ?
Of course, immediately he came back and providing me with this jam which has whole pieces of fruit in it and I think it’s homemade
My small latte was excellent and hot so I’m gonna have to tell you that the place is very full and there are 11 tables in here that are full right now and service atmosphere and food were EXCELLENT!
I highly recommend pressed Café in Salem New Hampshire, and want to shout out to Lucas and Lisette working the register Trevor, Amy and Catherin on the floor!
Thank you,...
Read more. My experience at Pressed Café was absolutely awful from start to finish. The issues started right at the ordering stage. The person taking my order was being trained, and while she read the order back to me correctly, she ended up entering something entirely different into the system. To make matters worse, the manager, who was standing right there overseeing her as she clicked the buttons, didn’t catch any of these glaring mistakes.
I ordered the Citrus Chicken and the Pressed smashburger , but what I received was completely wrong. The Citrus Chicken was missing key ingredients like avocado, and the Pressed smashBurger turned into some sort of boiled grilled chicken with bacon, missing the egg entirely, and certainly not the crispy chicken it was supposed to be. On top of that, the sauces weren’t even what I ordered.
It’s clear that the problems in this store start with management. The manager was right there during the ordering process, and I should have paid more attention myself because it was obvious things were not being handled properly. The entire experience—from ordering to the careless way the food was prepared and bagged—was a disaster.
This lack of attention to detail and professionalism from both the person taking the order and the manager overseeing the process made the experience extremely frustrating. It’s clear this location needs serious improvements, starting with how the staff and management handle orders.
We saw the mess when we got home, tried calling the store and nobody picked the phone...
Read moreI didn't know Pressed had opened until I was checking out Tuscan Village website. I read reviews that were nearly all positive with a couple outliers regarding "covid" related comments. I ordered through the drive thru which has 2 lanes! Big plus. I was at the window picking up my order within 2-3 mins. I ordered Chia pudding and a chocolate croissant. Upon arriving at the window the staff took confirmed my order, took my money and handed me my bag. He did not "touch" my food which was handed to him by another staff member. So, I felt very comfortable with food safety. My chia pudding was topped with banana, strawberry, blueberry compote and peanut butter. I could taste the coconut in the pudding and enjoyed mixing my bites differently with each spoonful. I have a small appetite so this will last me 2 servings. I also ordered the chocolate croissant which I only could take one bite of because the chia pudding filled me up. The pastry resembled more of a croissant/donut. Not exactly the airy layers I'm used to. But it was soft and fresh. My husband will enjoy the rest! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the price point is a smidgen high but the quality is good. I also have tried 2 items so hopefully o will get back to try more items and review with a...
