Santiam Subs — Restaurant in Salem

My partner and I visited here the other night and were extremely disappointed with the food and the cleanliness of the place. We ordered a BLT and a BBQ chicken sandwich. The place had run out of the breads for our sandwiches which was understandable knowing that we got there a little bit later in the day. When they were making our sandwiches, my partner's sandwich was completely made incorrectly to what we think was a club sandwich while the BLT I ordered only had 2 tiny strips of bacon on it, which prompted me to ask for more bacon for an additional $1. After receiving our food I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and discovered a concerning looking soap dispenser. I'm not sure if the soap dispenser had 2 different types of soap in it, or if there is actually mold growing inside the dispenser but it was concerning. We both expected more from this place but...

I literally just got back from the worst experience at this place. I had called there mistaking them for another business.the guy working answered the phone sounding like he was angry and didn't say the name of the business just an angry hello. Against my better judgement i decided to go In and try them out. Walking in the worker ignored us to continue the conversation he was having with a friend throwing the F word around freely despite me standing there with my KID!! I shouldve left then but i just got off work and was hungry. Dude was worse as i ordered then was staring off at his wife and screaming kids (who were hanging out there while he worked) as if i was imposing on Family time instead of bringing my business to his place of work.. The sub was as disgusting as the customer service and i will never go back nor will i let anyone...

I just visited on the way back home up portland. One of the worse sandwich shops i’ve been too. My sandwich was drier than dry and have very little taste to it. I also order fries to go along but never actually received them after paying. I was too far up the road to care to turn around and go back. I was not asked what I even wanted on my sandwich either, which we are allergic to tomatoes and they were on the sandwich. Paid almost 40 bucks + a tip just to go stop somewhere else for lunch. I’m very sorry but it was very disappointing. I normally think highly of places for actually putting work in to getting the food but this place was not it.
