Maybe for Salem this is place is great but the food safety there scares me. I went and the entire time I didn't see any plates being added to removed from the conveyor belt and it was very warm in there at the time. I ordered 2 rolls to be made fresh to stay away from a food borne illness on the per plate selections. One of the rolls was very tasty but the other was not enjoyable at all. First they are huge, like 4 bites huge so trying to dip them is not going to happen. The "wasabi" is nasty and in a container on your table already all nice and warm with a spoon in it that you use to shovel onto your plate. No pickled ginger like you would normally expect. If you have ever had sushi in a big city don't visit this place its not worth your time. If you are daring and want to try lots of things for cheap go and get stuff...
Read moreTwo stars because 3/4 times that I've been here, the service has been EXTREMELY sub par. I'm not hard to please as a customer and almost never complain about anything. My boyfriend and I tried to get anyone's attention without causing a loud scene and waited and waited and waited... Even going as far as walking to the front to try to order anything. There was next to nothing on the conveyor belt and everyone else was getting a small amount of service as well. It wasn't the waitress's fault as there was one of her and about 4 other employees making orders or standing around chatting. When we finally stood around long enough up front we went to pay and honestly should have been comped the $4.50 or so after being there for 30-45 minutes and most of that was spent waiting. What a waste of time and money. Would not...
Read moreI've been here a ton of times because the price is very good! It's very cheap for a quick bite of sushi that can be fulfilling. The only downside is the lack of communication. Most of the staff are asian and have a hard time understanding difficult things and you might have to repeat yourself and be more thorough if you wanna make an order. They don't offer what I want usually on the conveyer belt so I usually have to order. Their calamari is great and they provide a lot of rice and their fish can be a little too small sometimes on the nigiri but you get what you pay for. The rice is perfectly made and isn't too sweet or salty. It is more thicker than most places that make it. It's great for a quick bite, never too busy, and a VERY good price for sushi haha. I also really love the cream...
