One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Went here to buy a new couch, and was working with Christina. We were looking at their options and figuring out what we liked. Ended up landing on a couch for about $1500. The FIRST RED FLAG should have been when we went to get financed. She filled out the paperwork for us, but put in $10,000 for a credit limit without consulting us or asking what we thought we might want to have approved, affecting our credit score more than we anticipated. But, because of this she was able to convince us to buy a new bed as well. After we got everything squared away, we did some more measurements and decided that couch wasn't going to work, we let her know and she said to just not accept that when they deliver everything. They came to deliver the furniture and they just brought in the bed and frame to set up. When they were done setting up the new bed and removing our old one, we went to check it out and discovered the delivery team had tried to use the manual and paperwork to cover up from BLOOD that they got on the mattress. They also left trash and plastic from the packaging on the house and ACTIVATED CARBON UNDER THE BED WHERE OUR PUPPY COULD GET TO IT AND DIE. I had to go outside and tell them there was blood on the mattress and that we did not want it. When I called Christina about the issue she said "sometimes things are delivered damaged and we can get a new bed delivered to you in a week". I do not feel like blood is just "damage", this is bodily fluids and a BIOHAZARD. They had also handled our old mattress and we did not feel comfortable using that one either. When I mentioned that we would need to take off work for a SECOND DELIVERY and have nothing to sleep on for a week, she said and "it is a third party delivery company we have no control over" and "they are usually really good about getting replacements, that is the best we can do". When we finally got fed up with the attitude, lack of responsibility and trying to help us have a bed to sleep on, we told them to just cancel everything. She said there would be a $99 pick up fee but everything else will be canceled. I said, no, we aren't paying for that because it was delivered with BLOOD, which she didn't seem concerned about and continued to say "things are delivered damaged sometimes". Once we got fed up with her BS, we went to the general customer service number to talk to someone and they told us they would be able to take away the pick up fee for the mattress and there would be nothing else. This was around President's Day and we just got a bill from them saying we owe them $400 and the payment is late. We kept nothing from them, cancelled the orders and are still getting charged. We specifically asked about this deal since it was the only reason we decided to shop at this store. We were told free delivery for purchase over $1,400 and it's a donation program so you send in pictures of what you want removed and as long as there are no rips, tears, stains or anything like that they would be taken away. Well that's not the case. I immediately went home and sent pictures or the front and sides as directed by salesman. There were never any real straight forward directions that should have been a red flag right there. I got a response back that said they would forward my pictures to the wearhouse the next day when they are open. Ok no problem. Today I received a text that my couches have been denied and we needed to figure something else out. I asked if they could explain why and was told someone would reach out. I did get a call and was told that it they don't think they can really them, they won't take them. These couches are very much the current style and color that is in every showroom we visited, so to say they won't be resold is insane. I decided to call and just pick up our new couches since we had to pay the delivery fee of $129.99, which we initially didn't mind, since they were going to remove our old couches and bring our new ones. When we called about picking up our couches that was a whole new issue saying if they were damaged or something was wrong we would have to take them to the wearhouse, that is over 45 miles from where we live. Absolutely ridiculous. So we just decided to keep delivery as scheduled for Saturday and pay the money and now find someone to take our old couches. Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was a very fast and easy experience. I researched the couch I was interested in and found the best price and financing for my needs at Mor. I went to the nearest location and was immediately helped by a representative, Abdul. That particular store didn't have the specific sectional I was after but he showed me some couches that were very similar to material and comfort. Abdul ordered the sectional and it arrived 5 days later, first thing the day expected and was brought in and set up for me by the delivery team. The couch exceeded my expectations. Lovely, sturdy, and comfortable for a very affordable price.
Edit to add: 04/04/2024 I ended up having to puchase another set of couches to no fault of the quality of the previous sectional...just time for something different. Anyway, this go round the sales rep at the physical store, Eric, was great! Gave me my space, he was informative without making me feel pressured one bit. My budget is pretty low but I had several options to choose from in my price range. I did have a slight issue after the couch was delivered using/paying for the "white glove delivery" service. The couch was damaged upon receipt (corner had some small rips) but Mor was fantastic about getting me a replacement asap! The second delivery team was great! I would 100% use this business again...
