I have been vaping for years and have purchased numerous devices from this store. I understand some are better than others and the liability is a gamble for some of the products. I had a Novo 2 and it lasted 7 months (purchased from here). I then purchased another hoping to get the 7 months out of it but it only lasted 3 weeks( purchased from here). I didnāt try to return it or get upset that I spent $35 on it, as it only lasted at most 3 weeks. I, today went back to purchase another vape and did. I spent $50 on this one hoping to get some use out of it. This device lasted less than 30 minutes and it broke. I obviously brought it back and was told the manager would have to look at it, and he didnāt because he was busy telling the cashier how to handle the situation with me. It was deemed broken, defective or whatever terminology they want to use. It was then explained that the manager wanted the cashier to look at it and make sure it was broke, and after a extensive check she also deemed it broke. She then went back to the manager who was observing the entire process from a far, and told him it was broke. He then had her tell me because it was in a sealed box and was not opened that they could not take it back or exchange it but I could buy another one at a discount. First off I already bought one sealed and new and it was broke, so why would I purchase another one. I was unaware that this is how they did business because the other person I dealt with in the past was more than helpful and took care of the issue I had. If you are a manager and or are in a authoritative position then do your job. Donāt hide behind your employees and push it on them. You are going to sit down and watch the situation from across the store and not try to rectify the situation? Thatās not how a manager should conduct business. I personally would replace a manager that does the least he can but gets a paycheck. Secondly, how can you deny the return of a product that is clearly defective and was bought at 2pm, then brought back at 6pm the same calendar day. I have a feeling this isnāt the first time this has happened and will not be the last. The other employees I had interacted with were more than helpful, apologetic, and professional. Ive spent thousands on glass over time and went in on monday to buy a glass reclaim catcher and well girl @ counter did horrir wrap job amd threw into bag with other things. Needless to say when i got home it was in 3 peices i called there right away and man who helped me said not a problem bring it back tomorrow and ill exchange it for you no prob....well untill i went in there. When i went back he couldnt find same one so he disappears into back and girl who rings u up found it she tried to charge me for it & when i explained what had happend she first lied to me and said she was NOT working the pervios day! Im sorry but that made me so mad like dont lie right to my face! She is the ONLY FEMALE that works there like hello! Then says i have to pay $10 which its a $25 piece but i was told it would be exchanged i said no i was told it would be replaced no charge so she started with her well it wasemt broken when u left speal & again i explained to her if she had wrapped it correctly and not put it into a bag with things that could potentially break it than i wouldn't be here. Soooo after abouy 10mins of arguing shes like ok $5 im like are you serious?!? I payed it just to get outta there before i lost my cool. But will NOT be returning there all due to her attitude and the horrible customer service SHE gave me as well as lying to my face! Ill go to heavens one block down may be little more $ but woman would never ever treat a paying...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBought an Ooze pen today (10/3). Would not charge. Tried calling the store three times but the line is down/ disconnected. When I tried to verify the product online via serial number for the warranty to get a replacement, I found this product was NOT AUTHENTIC. This product is FAKE. The store has not answered any calls regarding providing me a full refund or a replacement pen with verifiable serial number.
I paid in cash and I was NOT provided a receipt, and the female cashier kept my change and did not give it back to me. While Iām fine tipping leftover change for a product that works, the fact it was not offered back to me AND the product is fake is sickening.
I will update with future attempts at contacting Smokers Choice and whether or not they rectify this situation.
EDIT: called back 10/4 and the number worked. Spoke to someone today who would not give me any concrete answers or even acknowledge the pen battery being fake who just talked in circles. Told me to call back tomorrow to speak to a manager. I also asked why I was not provided a receipt and she did not answer my question, and quickly began talking about something else. When I asked for her name so I could remember who I spoke on the phone to, she paused and seemed as if she did not want to respond. When I asked again she said āSweetyā, and hung up while I was trying to ask another question. Will be calling back tomorrow to try and get in touch...
