The review is mostly for their service, given that after over an hour of waiting for my food it was not delivered. My meal was ironically an appetizer. During that time, six of the eight meals for our table were served and fully eaten (at least 20 minutes later) before the remaining two of us were offered our meals in to-go boxes, as we were already paying our bill. (Even one of the six meals was served 10 minutes after the first five.) Once eaten at home, my tacos were good; I cannot comment on the sweet potato fries (my side order), as they were left out.
Suggestion for the Kitchen: Our two meals both had a side of sweet potato fries. In similar instances, please consider delivery those when the rest of table is already eating - at a minimum.
Facts: We were here on a busy day, but we were one of the first tables to order.

About 10 min in we got a burger, not our burger. Later we asked where our food was and she said it would be out soon. About an hour passed since we ordered and she said they were plating our food and it would be out in 5 or 6min. Well 16 min later we got it. Very sloppy and bad flavor. We go to pay at the counter so we can leave, i got my card thrown at me and the chick went all crazy on us for not liking the food. Over the past three months, I have called Bensons Tavern at least six times, and sent three e-mails requesting contact with whomever (apparently the owner) is responsible for booking that space. Every time I call, the folks say that the owner needs to call me back and advise me to send him an e-mail (which I do), and that they have a note waiting for him in the bar. Nothing. I've stressed the importance of communicating with us as we plan to have $1,000+ in sales for them. Nothing. Very frustrating as we really wanted to make this work but now have to look for alternate space due to this lack of communication. It's 2020...
