Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Salina

Went to grab dinner here last night and was quickly reminded why I usually stick with QDOBA instead. There was a line nearly out the door, and by the time we got to the front, they were out of almost everything: no meat except chicken, only brown rice, no veggies, no queso, and barely any black beans — the staff was scraping the bottom of the container. Lettuce and guac were running low too.

When we asked when more food would be available, the manager said it would be at least 5 minutes, maybe longer, because they had a catering order — and they were literally taking food from the main serving line to fill it. Meanwhile, they had a restaurant full of paying customers and a line out the door.

Catering orders should be prepared separately, not by depleting the regular food line during dinner rush. That’s just poor planning. In hindsight, I should’ve just walked out, but after waiting 25 minutes in line and having my bowl half-made, it felt like a waste to leave.

This isn’t the staff’s fault — they were doing their best. But the manager clearly wasn’t prepared. Poor...

We stopped here for dinner and it was a big disappointment. Not like other Chipotle restaurants that we have been to. The organic cold drinks/lemonades were out as seen in the picture. I asked one of the employees (no one had a name tag to know their names, which they should in my opinion), and she said she would make the berry Fresca (my favorite) in “a minute.” 30 minutes later and they still haven’t made the drink and it did not seem they cared. They’re quick to get your money, but would not provide what you actually paid for!!! Ridiculous!! Poor customer service!! We left 30 min later and the drinks were as empty as when we walked in and brought it to their attention. Napkins were also out and again no one seemed to care. Like others have mentioned, they upsell add-on items and not let the customer know that there is a charge for that....

We are regular fans of Chipotle and reside in Clearwater Florida. We were on a road trip going home from Denver Co. We stopped in for dinner and were shocked how disgusting the restaurant was. They we're not busy.There were four tables loaded with garbage. They didn't clean up the floors and needed a good sweep down. That would have been helpful. There were at least four employees just standing around the counter while we ordered. We took our food to go as a result more pleasant elsewhere. This is the worst Chipotle I've seen from California to Florida. They got two stars because the food was adequate. My advice clean up. Take pride in your store as this was not the case when we stopped in. Good...
