Hobby Lobby — Local services in Salina

The Salina Hobby Lobby location is very clean and well-stocked. A lot of the employees do not seem approachable. (I had an experience with a staff member a while back, I was looking for a specific item that I was having trouble locating. It took me a while to find an employee to begin with and when I finally did, I asked the lady if she could help me find the item I was shopping for. She rolled her eyes, sighed very loudly, and was very short in speaking with me, I could tell she had no interest in helping me. I ended up walking away in the middle of my sentence to her, I was very taken aback by her demeanor towards me.) Now when I go in there if I cannot find what I am looking for I do not ask for help from the employees I simply leave and go find what I am looking for at another store. Quite a few of the cashiers give off the impression that they also do not want to be there. They don't smile, they don't greet you when you walk up, and one of them does not even make eye...

I waited in line for 5 minutes to have to leave the line because some product I picked up was damaged, ( no offer to help me get replaced product or let me jump the line since I had already waited in line ) I got back in line and stood in line for another 9 minutes in line 1 while they kept pulling from Lane 2 to skip and go to a “special” register. Open more lanes, be more vigilant to who’s been standing in your lines for a long time, or pull customers from ALL lanes so everyone has an equal opportunity to skip the line. I had to leave my product(school pick up) and now hope your competitors have the same product later today cause I don’t have another 15 minutes to chance wasting in Hobby...

Normally, I have never had a issue here before on sale items, but you need to educate employees, apparently, on what is on sale. I purchased a small wooden wall decor sign, clearly in wall decor dept, clearly displayed with other wall decor, clearly had 50% off sign by it when i picked it up but was told by McKenzie even after showing her the wall hanger on the back of the item that it isn't considered wall decor because it can also sit on a shelf. Wasn't going to argue because I still would have purchased. After I got home found 3 more items that should have been 50% also but was charged...
