Coop's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Salina

Stopped in this evening, Saturday 7pm. Total of 10 customers in restaurant. Was greeted by very nice young lady. Ordered a Dr. Pepper and 14 Jamaican Jerk traditional wings. Received Drink. After 30 minutes ask young lady what is going on with my order? She replied it will be up shortly. Five minutes later I decided that 35 minutes is too long to wait for 14 wings when they aren't that busy. Paid for the soda and told young waitress, "It's not your fault that your Kitchen can't get their act together" She replied "I'm not sure, but they have some issues back there" Walked out of restaurant and was making other arrangements for dinner. 3 to 5 minutes later the Manager also very nice lady, came out and ask if I still wanted my order. Walked back in and took my order to go. Wings were plain not Jamaican Jerk. Would have giving them a 1 rating had it not been for how nice the 2 women were. They brought the rating up to a 3. We made a reservation through Google which was fun! I figured it was unnecessary because it was for 4:45pm but Holly, our waitress, said there weren’t a lot of tables for six so she was glad we did. Our table was set when we arrived with a table cloth and greenery. It was so special! (The rest of the tables in the restaurant were bare.) Holly greeted us and was patient with the five twelve-year-olds I had with me. They wanted to tell her stories and she just kept listening….so sweet. Our order was taken quickly and drinks were brought right out! We had cheesy breadsticks. The boys were very impressed with the cheesiness. Every time we pulled off a breadstick, the cheese came off in big, gooey strings. Just like in the cartoons. Everything was delicious. The Greek salad was so good. The pizza is something special. Our meal ended with them bringing out a special treat for our birthday boy. It was an added treat that they had Klove playing in the background and our favorite Tobymac songs came on while we enjoyed dessert. We will be...

We had such a great experience at Coop’s Pizzeria! I originally called around to different restaurants to see if they had pizza options without soybean oil (I have an intolerance), and at first I was told they did use it. A few minutes later, I actually received a call back letting me know they were mistaken and that Coop’s does not use soybean oil. That level of care and honesty already impressed me before we even arrived.

When we got there, Ashley and Jasmine went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and could enjoy my food safely. They were extremely thorough, kind, and genuinely cared about my experience. I’ve honestly never had staff go so far out of their way to make sure I was okay.

We ordered the Coop’s Famous Cheese Sticks, Deluxe Italian Sandwich, a Greek Salad with a personal 6-inch pizza, and two drinks. Everything was delicious, and the price was amazing!

Between the outstanding customer service, delicious food, and affordable prices, I will definitely be making Coop’s a regular spot for us....
