Sooo delicious. Smelled good when I walked in, thanks in part to the open kitchen. I quickly glanced around and it seemed clean, which is very important. Foodwise, I got the Seoul Sampler and it was very flavorful and filling. Rice and noodles were included, and some sides were self serve. My dish was extremely mild - I would have liked some more spice in the sides but didn't want to get up again after I sat down. There was plenty of flavor. Everyone working seemed like the were working hard and cared about my experience. I want to come back and try more things! While I was dining in, I overheard a to go order for a regular customer come in over the phone. The business knew the order just from his name and number, and the owner and employees all inquired of his health and family when he came in to pick it up. It is good to see the community being there for each other, in addition to the tasty food.

This is one of our favorite places in Salina. The food that Joomi and her staff cook are not fast but made the old fashioned way with the kitchen in full view as they prepare your order. The made from scratch Korean food is truly the way. Savory in all the best ways with extra spice for those who request it. My personal favorite is the kimchi soup which is bubbling, hot, and pungently spicy and tangy. The mandoo fried dumplings are crispy, hot, and fresh. The Seoul Sampler has a bit of everything while the Korean chicken wings are so very good. Seaweed salad and cucumber kimchi are served as choice of sides, but for those in the know ask for the spicy cabbage kimchi that is available on special request. I also can’t think of a better way to consume an egg than the hot stone bibimbap. For me this place is a small family owned restaurant that is 10/10 stars.

After 2 years, I still enjoy this restaurant when I am in Salina. Although it might not be the most authentic, they really do their best and offer a nice twist. I had the hot stone bibimbap on this occasion and it was a nice mix of flavors and textures to end my day. You can’t forget the sauce before you mix it! The crunchy rice on the bottom was my favorite part. I wish the unique tea that they offered was in a larger cup size. I also wish there were more Korean dishes on the menu. Nonetheless this is a unique restaurant in Salina! I am happy this restaurant is still around!
