Sleep Inn & Suites Salina I-135 — Hotel in Salina

The floors were dirty, shower floor was dark and dirty and the glass shower frame was covered in hair and scum. The toilet cailking was had yrine and other debris stuck to it. The desk had the hotel brochure sheet on there and it was sticky and coated in debris that smelled like vomit. The bed sheets were inside out which was concerning. The phone has error blinking lights on it that would not go away. Overall, would not ever want to stay there again. I also had to ask for a do not disturb sign for my door from the front desk. The room did not have one. Front desk people were nice though. Only plus side. I cut my two night stay into 1 night. Did not want to stay and longer. We booked a two night stay through booking.com. Our stay certainly left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, it was an uncomfortable stay due to incredible amounts of noise and endless mosquitoes near the hot tub and in the rooms. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything guests are saying around you. Every move they make sounds like it’s in the room with you; babies crying through the night. When we asked to cancel the second night booked with them, we were redirected to the booking site. When we logged on to the booking site, it only gives an option to send the hotel a direct message and then when you click submit to send to the message, it errors out. The owners of this hotel were very accommodating. We had a unique situation with last minute changes with ours & members of our groups reservations & they kindly changed things for us. The hotel is not new, but they've improved things & upgraded things that show they take pride in their business. Our room was clean & the breakfast was hot & well stocked. The breakfast area was tidy & clean. The owners & all other staff I interacted with were very kind. If you're looking for a brand new perfect hotel, this may not satisfy you, but if you're looking to do business with kind hard working people that provide a clean & safe place to stay, you should stay here!
