Danny's Donut Shop — Restaurant in Salinas

Been looking for a salinas donut shop that's different then the normal. Im from slo San Luis Obispo. We have fancy deluxe donuts at all are shops even are foster donut shop and what are these... we have a chocolate bar with chocolate chip inside that's a deluxe they have nothing like it. Regular donut shop will continue to go to Krisity donut shop in Salinas if im there. Finally went in and left. Prices so high with no specialty select donuts that can put a marking here on the map. I love my donuts. You should call foster donuts Grover Beach CA. They will tell you what that donuts about in SLO County been eating deluxe special donuts since I was 8 lol. just stopped by this donut spot real quick and honestly, it did not disappoint. i grabbed a chocolate, a jelly-filled, and a guava donut—all fresh and soft like they just came out the oven. also got myself a black tea and a bacon, egg & cheese bagel sandwich. let me tell you, that bagel was so soft and flavorful, everything about it hit just right. what really stood out too was how nice the staff were—the girl who helped me was super sweet and patient, and the whole vibe in there was just real welcoming. they keep their donut selection fresh and stocked, so you’ll definitely find something you like. if you tryna find a chill spot with good food and good service, this is def the place...

Soft and fresh doughnuts with friendly staff. Out of all the doughnuts I have had in Salinas, I would consider them a clear winner. Been back here multiple times throughout a 1 month period, the doughnuts seem consistently fresh throughout the day. If you would like a particular specialty doughnut, I would suggest to call the day prior and reserve what you would like.
