🥳🥳🥳 I had such a great experience at El Pollo Loco today! 🐔🔥

✨ Cleanliness: The store was spotless from top to bottom. Tables were wiped down, floors were shining, and even the drink station was tidy and well-stocked. It felt fresh and welcoming the moment I walked in! 🧼🧽

😊 Staff: The employees were incredibly friendly and attentive. From the warm greeting at the counter to the quick service with a smile, they made me feel genuinely appreciated. One team member even checked in to make sure everything was perfect above and beyond! 🙌💛

🍗 Food: And of course, the chicken was delicious as always hot, flavorful, and satisfying.

First time visiting this place, 20 years ago, Pollo Loco was located in East Salinas and wasn't a chain. So is it still the best chicken in Salinas? Yes, it has the same flavor I remember. Flame grilled no sweet or spicy sauce. However, you will want to eat every bit of tasty skin 😋. So why only 4 stars for the food, to much like a chain restaurant. Very basic sides mashed potatoes, tasty Spanish corn ,steamed broccoli, beans and churros,coleslaw. I got the corn, and it was very tasty, especially with the cilantro cream sauce . The food was a solid 4, but im adding the additional star for the dogs that came to visit me in the parking lot while I ate. I named them leeroy and timbone. This wasn't their first rodeo of begging for food whilst looking sad. I started with offering them some of my tortilla, but they wanted nothing to do with that and demanded the real goods, the chicken. Leeroy (the hefty one) stared and grunted at me until I broke down and tossed him some chicken. Timbone (the skinny one) just stared sadly at me until I gave up that yummy yummy chicken as well.
