Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Salinas

Just moved back after 6 years and I was SO excited to splurge on some good ol' Mountain Mikes, it was always my favorite pizza place Growing up! and I rarely have extra money for takeout but I wanted to treat myself....

Well, I spent $40 + $6 tip on a small personal pizza, Mozzarella sticks and 2 drinks tonight. Got 1 drink, and completely cold, hard mozzarella sticks AND pizza, which had chicken on it, so nasty cold meat. To top it off, packets of parmesan and red pepper flakes were directly topping the pizza like we're not in the middle of a pandemic.

I wasn't able to eat anything, it was like it had been left out over night. I let UberEats know and they said they called and nothing could be done.

Visited on Labor Day weekend 2022. The pizza was good and was prepared pretty fast after ordering, but the place was really filthy. I’m talking greasy finger marks everywhere and the restroom was not clean. They have a few arcade games throughout the store but I did not let my kid play as they were beyond filthy with pizza grease fingerprints all over the screens and controls that stood out with the daylight that shined through the also filthy windows. Disappointed. My son and I were craving salad, pizza and wings. The only thing that was good was the pizza. Wings tasted like frozen microwaved chicken that wasnt thoroughly cooked. The veggies in the salad were pretty mucky as if they weren't washed. Normally the best part of ordering pizza is ordering a heaping amount of ranch to dip it in, however, they use pre-packaged ranch and not the in house ranch that i normally look forward to.
