I ordered some custom cakes and they turned out HORRIBLE. I wish I could say the cakes tasted good but they were not good and very very dry.
I ordered a birthday cake and a smash cake for my son. I exchanged many emails about the cakes with abigails.
When it came time to get the cakes the decorations were switched. The smash cake was the adult cake and the adult cake was the smash cake.
The adult cake was hard and old tasting my guests ended up throwing it away. The smash cake was so soft the worlds smallest cake topper slid off!
When i emailed abigails with my complaints and outrage. They basically told me tough luck. That THEY MADE THE DECISION TO SWITCH DECORATIONS DUE TO CHOKING HAZARD excuse me? Where the communication? I was a phone call or email away.
Noone told me the dairy free cake is softer than normal cakes but it should have held up for a small cake topper.
I paid $15 extra for handpainted animals and I got 100% fondont animals that they said they didnt paint them because they decided the fondont ones were cuter. Thats nice but I didnt hire you for your opinion I hired you to execute a cake that I wanted, not you.
In the end even though I basically didnt get anything I wanted spent over $80 on cakes when I could have gotten a $10 cake from foodlion that would have tasted better. I was told they dont have a refund policy and would be given $40 in a gift card because I was so "disgusted"
I would have pushed it under the rug for my money back but since that isnt happening I will tell everyone about the horrible...
Read moreMaybe based on word of mouth referrals I expected too much, but I was completely disappointed in the quality and service here. I accompanied my daughter and a friend to the bakery to inquire about a wedding cake for my daughter's upcoming event. We obviously called before hand and were told no appointment was necessary. When we went in were instructed to choose a few flavors of cupcakes to purchase and try. We were given a strange look when we asked the associate for forks so we could do our tasting there, but she obliged. I must say the cakes were just average, and the photos in her albums at the shop were not impressive. The real kicker was when we inquired on pricing. The associate handed us a general price list which was not very clear. Additionally when my daughter asked for clarification as to how many people the various sizes feed, the associate had to confer with someone in the back. This person as turns out was actually the owner who was too busy making cookie dough to come assist us. Ultimately we were told it was best that any questions we have be e-mailed to them. I don't understand why a customer in your shop is referred to e-mail and why this was not an important enough sale for the "cake professional" to come speak with...
Read moreThe customer service was amazing, however the cake was not. I was expecting so much more taste and creativity wise. My cake details were. Graffiti Urban Neon colors I ordered a strawberry cake with strawberry shortcake filling. I also stated it was my husband's 40th birthday and that the artist should have fun with the design. The cake was super dense and by itself was not good at all, the strawberry shortcake filling was still full of undisolved sugar, Im sure it was sugar as I inspected it and clearly saw sugar crystals not to say there aren't cookies in it also. The butter cream frosting had the consistency of actual butter, I did follow the instructions provided to us and allowed the cake to sit out 2 hours before serving it. I was so excited to surprise my husband with this cake, but ended up going to the grocery store for a cake after spending almost $90, including the tip, on their 6 inch. I did order a cake 5 days prior to picking it up which caused a $20 rush fee I didn't mind paying. We cut one piece and didn't even finish it. This cake is free to a...
