Mapow — Restaurant in Salisbury

Friday night girls night out for sushi and wine slowly turned in the worst night we ever had. We tend to go out for sushi together at least once a week and daily when we were in college. We ordered wine, the wine had something floating in it....strike one. We have been to easily hundreds of plans and never once have we ordered something and the skin was on it, the avocado was literally brown, the white rice was brown, the raw salmon looked extremely old and like it had been touched a lot. We said something about these. Our waitress went to the sushi chef and came back and told us that is how it is supposed to be. Okay, so I am an accountant, I am not in hospitality but last time I check the proper response is let me make that again for you not we are right and you are wrong. Well from there we were just grossed out and told them we were not going to eat this and wanted to go. All while this was happening we had our "friendly" locals at the table next to us being extremely rude and talking about us like we weren't there the whole time. Call me crazy, but if I am at a sushi place, well at any place for that matter and someone nicely says something to the waiter about there food and I happen to over hear it, I am going to ask them about it. Well they did quiet the opposite of that. Expectable for middle school girls, but parents with the daughter? I would say not, aside from that table there was only one other table in the place. It was dead on a Friday night at 6:30. I completely understand now why no one was there. I will never go to this place again, and don't recommend...

Horrible experience. Would not recommend at all. The service was extremely poor. The servers took probably over 30 minutes before giving us a pen and paper to write our own orders on. It wasnt extremely busy. Then when we finally got the food another 30 minutes later, the crab curry I had was the soggiest, most disgusting food I have ever had at a restaurant. Could not finish it to be honest.

My girlfriend got the see you noodles and they smelled rotten and did not taste that great either. Now as we got home, she threw up immediately as we both still have the bad tastes in our mouth. I wish i had some good things to say but I dont. The workers were pretty nice, but I can not see myself ever...

I wonder time and time again about reviewers... Hands down the worst Thai food I've had! I'll usually give a place a second chance, however this won't even get that. We made a large order for 4 people trying spring rolls, pad thai, soups, and curry dishes which ALL were very bland or deeply lacking in flavor, notably the pad thai which literally was a hard clump of noodles, couple of peanuts, and so dry you could pick the entire noodle mound up w/a fork as well as hardly any ingredients, just noodles. We moved locally recently and hoped for this to be our go-to place but 100% was just bad. Oh, and no rice for the curry dishes, zippo! Complete...
