While visiting friends in the area, we decided to try Nancy's for breakfast. We started with beignets, which arrived hot and dusted with powdered sugar and a dish of amazing blueberry jam - Maine blueberries, the little ones with tons of flavor. Two of our party had the avocado eggs benedict. They said that the hollandaise was somewhat bland (could have used a bit of lemon), but otherwise the dish was quite good. Another had a breakfast Sandwich with corned beef which was also very tasty. I sampled some of the corned beef and it was delicious. I had a special for the day. This was a spicy fried chicken wrap with honey, egg, greens, and cheese. Most of the filling was chicken and egg. It was huge and delicious. The spice was not knock you off your chair and the honey really complimented the spice that they used. It was so big that it was difficult to hold and eat, but if that's the worst I can say about it. I wish this were a regular item, so that I could get it again when we go back. The wait staff was very attentive and communicative. Five stars for her.

Awesome little place. Loved the feeling if it. Probably always busy because the food was delicious. Would love to visit again when in the area.

We came in for breakfast on a weekday. Seated ourselves and the Server greeted us immediately. The Server was very good, although we can't remember her name ever being given. The opportunity is food when comparing this cozy cafe with its many competitors in the area. First, the Biscuits and Sausage Gravy was warm, not hot. The biscuits were good, but the gravy was lacking in sausage flavor and was over seasoned with pepper. The other meal was an omelette with tomatoes and bacon. The omelette is french style, very thin with no fluff which is not our preference. The tomatoes in the omelette were not seasoned and were not warmed prior to being put in the omelette resulting in a cool, flavorless omelette. We did get an Apple Turnover and a Very Berry Scone to take with us and they were very good. The pastry on the Turnover was perfect, thick enough to show layering and was flaky with very good filling. The scone was more biscuit than muffin, with good berries. Nice. We did not try any waffles or pancakes, so we will visit again and as always, I will edit my review with the...

I visited Nancy's Marshview Cafe & Bakery a few times for lunch and every single time was phenomenal. The staff is so polite and attentive. I ordered a club sandwich with onion rings and took fresh bakery items to go. I can't stop ordering the same club sandwich because it is SO GOOD!

Thank you to the staff for taking such quality care of me during these trying times. I can only imagine how hard it is keep a small business open during a pandemic, operate with staff shortages, inflation, inventory shortages and heavy government regulations. Not enough people take the time to write positive reviews but are so quick to write a negative one when the slightest inconvenience occurs. I hope this helps everyone browsing the review section. Support small...
