I usually love this zaxby's usually have great service. However as of recently I placed an order online. I went to pick it up and stood at the location for 30 minutes and was not spoke to after giving my name. After my husband came in and was extremely frustrated wondering why it was taking so long we stood and over heard employees saying that the shift the night before had not defrosted buns. That is such a simple fix for me if communicated. Sure I would take it on toast. However the drive through had approx 25 cars go through it during the time I was waiting. The manager came over to ask if we had been helped and I said I've been waiting for almost 30 minutes now and I placed my order online. The manager said ok I apologize got my order and told me that my next two orders would be free from them. I was satisfied and appreciated the promptness to offer a solution for my time. I called back about a week later and asked how to redeem my free meals and was greeted with being told there was nothing on the books that said that and I didn't know what I was talking about. The woman said her manager was not there she was the manager. After I described the first gentleman that helped us she said let me go talk to my general manager. She said that must have been the district manager and she couldn't do anything and then as I got frustrated trying to explain what happened she interupted me numerous times. I proceeded to tell her that was unacceptable and I wanted to talk to the other manager and asked her name. She laughed and said I guess you should've listened at the beginning of the call. I said you know what I will be there in a minute. We went to the location to speak to the other manager and the woman I was on the phone with greeted me and said too bad I was dealing with her. Proceeded to roll her eyes at me and then laughed and said yeah I said it and... So I said fine call the district manager and find out she said he had admitted he forgot to write it down. Even after that she still was rude and argued with me and gave us one free order and said that she would not honor the other free order the next time. I emailed the office on the app and tried to figure out how to resolve the issues I was responded to with an apology and that was it. I have emailed back and said are you serious an im sorry for the lack of customer service to be laughed at in my face. I am so saddened as a customer service representative that this is acceptable in zaxby's eyes to treat someone this way and then back them up with not doing...
Read moreFirst time at a Zaxby's and I was pretty surprised. It had the feel of an upscale fast food joint, similar to that of a Smashburger or Chipotle.
The restaurant was pretty nice. It was clean inside with plenty of seating available. It had high tops, tables and bar areas to sit at. There was also plenty of seating outside, too. Upscale or not, it still had the feel and vibe of a fast food restaurant.
The service was good. Typical quick and efficient, though the staff wasn't all that friendly. In fact, the person taking the order was pretty annoyed that I was ordering and wasting his time apparently --perhaps he had something better to do?
Though not the healthy choice, the food was good. Their chicken was tasty --I had their club sandwich, and fries pretty generic, though good. Not sure I'd rave about the food, or not sure I'd go out of my way because 'I have to have ZAXBY'S!!!', but it was good.
The restaurant is buried in a plaza off the freeway. You can't see the restaurant from the main road, and take a few twists and turns to get to from the freeway, so it wasn't easy on/off, but still not too...
Read moreI came in for a quick lunch, and also to feed my daughter her baby food while I ate. When I ordered, the cashier didn't speak at all, and certainly didn't offer any help to me. I obviously had my hands full with my baby and our bags, and several employees literally STARED at me but not one offered to help. So I got my food, and tried to find a place to sit down. The only place I could find was right beside the rear entrance and it wasn't exactly a warm day either so I wasn't happy about my daughter being exposed to the cold while she was already sick. And the high chairs were located at the front door, so I had to sit our food and bags down, walk all the way to the front door, and try to maneuver myself and my baby and the heavy high chair through the crowded restaurant back to our table and hope to God nobody had touched my food. I was not happy with my experience here at all. And after all that, the food wasn't anything to brag...
