I used to go to I hop Salisbury all the time to eat. It was one of the better places to catch a good breakfast. NOT ANYMORE.I went thereon 3/31/18 at about 2:30 am. They did seat me right away but it took forever over 30 minutes to get a cup of coffee.There was an empty coffee pot there on the table and from the looks of it it had not been washed in some time and I was having no part of a dirty coffee pot and I let the person waiting the table know I wanted a clean pot.I was very nice about the way I said it and it went over very well. 30 mins later I got my coffee another 30 mins go by and I still have not gotten to order any food and I was ready to order when I walked into the place but I was put on hold. When she did come back I got the country platter or what ever it was. it was suppose to have 2 biscuits covered with gravy and 4 link sausages and 2 eggs scrambled soft. Well when my food got there I had 2 links and Hash browns that's all I said really !!!!! I ask where are my eggs don't you see that something is missing ?? she guessed it right but I guess I had tell this the way it happened the girl that brought my food out was kitchen help not a waitress. anyway I got my eggs but only 2 links I ask where are the other 2 she also got those for me. Now where is my waitress ? who knows.Now lets sum this up. breakfast cost me $12.49 and the food all of the food was cold.I talked to the store or shift super and she said I am sorry maybe your service will be better next time. screw that I will never go back there or to any other I hop.I sure hope that someone from upper management reads my review and puts this place back in order.. It won't help me one little bit because I will never go to another I hop but it may help other customers get and have better service than I have had. and my receipt number is # 4423 Oh and for the waitress that did not get a tip you got what you worked for. I should have given that kitchen help girl a couple dollars however. Read moreUpdate: went there twice in the past few weeks. Customer service was much better. On first visit our server was new and he should not have been the one doing the midday shift alone. He was great though. He did drop one of our drinks, but that was an accident. He did keep our drinks filled and that’s good. My friend drinks a lot. The food was actually pretty quick and still warm when it arrived. As I said though he was great, so all in all it was a good experience. Our visit yesterday was just as good. Customer service was great. Nice server. Food was also delicious and warm when it arrived. Drinks are expensive so make sure you order something that is refillable. We ordered that one of the splasher drinks, I think they’re called, and it’s $3.99. It is refillable though. My daughter wanted mike and that is $1.69!! No refills even though it comes out of a machine just like a soda does. Outrageous prices. Our server kept my friends drink full and even offered us to go drinks. When I went to the bathroom to wash my hands before and after eating it was not clean. Paper towels running over to the floor, so having the machine directly over the trash is pretty nasty. Machine sounds like it’s batteries are running low. Toilet paper was out in two stalls. Floor was really sticky. It was the same on our last visit. We will still return and hope for the best again.
customer service is always bad. When we walked in today we stood there for about 7 minutes while servers were walking around us. Finally someone comes up and apologizes for the wait. They let us know they're short handed and that they need to clean some tables. Our wait wasn't too bad, maybe 10 minutes, for our food, but we only ordered pancakes. We asked for two boxes, but our server never came back since she was running the register. After we got those from someone else I just went to the register for our check. They need to keep a cashier and busser on duty all the time or someone who is able to do these things when needed. Servers cannot do all three when it is busy. Seems like...
Read moreWe went to IHOP on 6/24/2023, and they were working with a skeleton crew. Apparently everyone quit. There were two waitresses; one was in training, and the manager was the cook. The GM quit and did not place a truck order, so they were running low on almost everything. Despite all of that, they were amazing. They had people in the dining room, people were waiting for DoorDash, then there was us. We came in at about 7 pm. I could tell that the cashier/waitress was a little stressed. No problem, we understand. We are incredibly patient people. Back and forth, she went checking on everyone. Then the waitress in training came to check on us. We talked for a while, and she was off to work again. Both waitresses appeared and offered us drinks. The music was lovely, and the service was amazing. They kept apologizing during our wait, and we kept reassuring them. No worries, we were okay. They all came out to bring us our food, and we made sure that they felt appreciated. The food was delicious, so worth the wait. We appreciated the service and can't wait for our next visit. The downside is how these corporations collect all this money while those three ladies kill themselves to keep IHOP in business. Give them all a raise!!! Again, you ladies rock!
