First off I love the Chipotle concept of fresh food and they are my "go to" when traveling. Most people will tell you though they are hit or miss on quality though which is sad. When this location came into my home area I was ecstatic, no more long drives to enjoy it. That being said it didn't take long to quickly disappoint! There appears to be a complete lack of management at the facility and standards that I know Chipotle does have. This location is regularly in disarray despite always having a full crew. The prep area is usually a mess with food everywhere including the floors (my latest visit the steam trays under the hot foods looked like soup from everything in them). They are regularly out of things like guacamole and fresh chips. My most recent they were out of chicken at 5pm. This took my prompting to say are you really out for another employee to get a fresh pan of chicken out which was barely warm. The whole food quality on the prep line never looks inviting...EVER! Customer service....well don't expect to be greeted or treated like "YOU" are actually the one buying their product. Most act like they are there as punishment and could care or less about the end product. During my most recent visit after "I" greeted the employee I placed the first of two order's before I had even told the second employee the add on's employee one was on to the next customer. I remained there as he went customer to customer before another employee asked did I need something else. Customer's knew what was happening because "THEY" asked me if I had another order. To be fair there are a few good employees at that location but, it's hit or miss. I discussed my experience with the shift manager and got the all too familiar "deer in the headlights stare" with sorry for your experience. I have talked to the manager and district over several months and things have not seemed to change even a little bit. As many others have stated the quality here is sub par and I find nothing over multiple visits to disagree with them. I really hope some one at Chipotle decides to take a look at this location and apply fixes. Until then I am grabbing from a more...
Read moreMy son and I just visited your location above and was not met with the welcoming customer service we are used to experiencing during our visits. Instead we were met with a female teammate who appeared to be experiencing a bad day in general. We ordered a kids quesadilla to which we were trying to get grilled veggies. She immediately proceeded with what was not possible and what she could not do. I alerted her that I had ordered this same meal many times prior and she basically shut me down and said that she was not going to argue with me. We presumed it was over but the colleague next to her adopted the same poor attitude which stemmed primarily from the first teammate. When asked how many sides the kids meal came with she said I don’t know walked away only to return a few minutes later to continue fixing our order. Overall you guys are our local Chipotle and we value your business enough to visit it as often as possible for our dining needs. This was not Chipotle’s best today and that was very saddening. To have a teammate represent the company in that manner was a little disappointing since I know that this was not the best representation that we have come to experience in times past. I certainly wish to partner with leadership to discuss further as I will be honest if my babies did not love the food I would have taken my business elsewhere and going forward. The cashier did her best after witnessing the engagement to try and start to turn the experience around and for that i am certainly grateful. To spend money in your store or any store for that manner and watch poor customer engagement and culture be impacted because of one teammates inability to exercise emotional intelligence was very scary especially in a climate to which our current...
Read moreFirstly, I frequent this location multiple times per month. Lately this location is always out of fixing almost every time I’ve been there for months. This is the only location I’ve visited that’s consistently out of ingredients not to mention the rice is ALWAYS mushy! A couple weeks ago I ordered online and upon pickup was advised they were out of guacamole if I visited the website I would receive a full refund. I attempted to do as instructed but the website wasn’t clear on how to obtain my refund. I decided to stop by and speak with a manager. I was greeted by an employee at the time not knowing he was the manger. Half way throughout the conversation I realized he wasn’t communicating with me as if I was a toddler asking for candy. In front of customer he proceeded to shut the instructions on how to retain the refund RUDELY as if I’m begging for a free meal and questioning me as if I’m being untruthful about the order. The entire encounter was very unprofessional, he clearly suffers from Napoleon complex. He’s always rude and complaining on several occasions I’ve heard him talking about other employees and stores but never really paid it much attention until it was directed towards me. Needless to say I will not revisit this location again and escalating this visit with Corporate. If you’d like to get a POTLE bowl stop by Salisbury where your guaranteed to be missing half of your ingredients. Worst...
