East Coast Wings + Grill — Restaurant in Salisbury

The atmosphere was not friendly nor greeted us, just sat us down. Me and my friend are both waitresses with a lot of experience and the waitress was very short with us. Me and my friend shared a 10 piece, 5 buffalo and 5 lemon pepper. The buffalo wings were rubbery to us, we just simply didn’t like them and asked nicely to exchange them for more lemon pepper since we preferred them. Waitress had a attitude when we asked to exchange but then she says she will only give us 4 lemon wings. We only took one bite out of the buffalo wings. She came back in less than 2 minutes with plain wings and lemon pepper seasoning on the side. Remind you there is only at least 4 tables in the restaurant. At that point we were over it and got boxes. My drink spilt on me so I went to the bathroom to dry off while my friend took care of the bill. Once I get out the bathroom I’m planning on leaving cash on the table for her tip so my friend left 0.00 tip on card. Once we walk up to the table the waitress tells us how rude we are for not leaving a tip after she “fixed” our wings and just says nasty things. We simply walked out because she had a stank attitude the whole time then jumped to conclusions once she saw 0.00 tip on card. As a waitress if moneys not on the card it’s on the table. As a waitress if somebody complains and they barley ate the food they didn’t like I’m going to try my best to get what they want ESPECIALLY if the restaurant is slow. As a waitress if I don’t receive a tip i’m not going to complain because i know God got me and also you don’t know everybody’s situation. Like I said she would’ve gotten the tip if she didn’t jump to conclusions about me not leaving her a tip JUST BECAUSE it wasn’t on card. Horrible behavior as a waitress. My family and I all love dining in at E.C.W. My kids are not picky but they each have their own preferences and so it's great that everyone can find something they like on the very large and diverse menu. Dining in has always been a wonderful experience. My review would be 5 stars IF I had not had such horrible take out service. I arrived at 8:45pm on Thursday to place a to- go order. After about 10 minutes a waitress finally approached me and let me know that the bar handles all to-go orders. I go to the bar and ask to put in a to-go order. I ordered 1 entree for myself and that was it. I tipped a couple of dollars and sit down after being told my food would take 10 minutes. By 9:24 I was getting worried that they had forgotten me bc the restaurant was about to close. I stood back closer to the bar waiting bc I didn't want to bother anyone while they were closing down their sections and cleaning but the bartender saw me several times while she was carrying on a conversation with her co workers but never acknowledged me. Finally she goes back to the kitchen , comes out with a bag and practically tosses it on the counter without saying anything! I told her thank you and to have a good night and she says "you too" in the most condescending voice. Then as we are leaving she started yelling "bye" over and over in a tone that was clearly meant to indicate how happy she was to see everyone get the hell out. There was 1 more table still eating. one of THE WORST EXPERIENCE ever. we felt targeted, our waitress was rude and tried to blame it on our table that we were disrespectful and thats why she started acting out of line. she was mad we couldn’t tip to what she was expecting and told us things like “yall shouldnt have ate here if yall couldnt tip and go to mcdonalds instead” but what she didnt know was that our coach was gonna cover our tip; so after she learn that, she was nice again, wishing us luck for our competition. im not gonna lie, it did start out great till she started to be passive agreesive and our friends did say something negative about her food but that is valid. when talked to the manager, the manager said something along the lines that if it happens again anywhere that the customer should get another worker to deal with it but i wish they wouldve trained them to be more respectful. NOT TO MENTION the bar stations manners. i know its a place for adult, but i didnt expect so much cussing and yelling at each other while crap talking about their customers. also apparently people we know have had bad experiences with this waitress and we believe her name was MISSY. all we know is she kinda short, brown hair, old and said to be racist.
