I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lofte’s Bar and Grill, that left a lasting impression on me. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with genuine warmth and humble service, which set the tone for a memorable dining experience. The restaurant's ambiance was simply delightful. It exuded a cozy and inviting atmosphere, reminiscent of classic diners. The tasteful decor, soft lighting, and comfortable seating created a space that felt both nostalgic and contemporary. It was a place where you could relax, unwind, and truly enjoy your meal. Speaking of the food, it was absolutely delightful. The restaurant offered a range of diner-style dishes that would satisfy any comfort food cravings. From juicy burgers and crispy fries to mouthwatering sandwiches and hearty soups, their menu had something for everyone. The chefs clearly put a lot of care into their creations, as each dish was bursting with flavor and prepared with fresh ingredients. One highlight of this restaurant was the excellent selection of cold beers. Whether you're a beer enthusiast or simply looking to enjoy a refreshing drink, their diverse beer menu had something to please every palate. The servers were knowledgeable and always ready to recommend the perfect pairing to complement your meal. Another impressive feature was the abundance of TVs throughout the restaurant. Sports enthusiasts and fans of live events would find themselves in heaven, as they could catch all the action while enjoying their meal. The multiple screens ensured that every guest had a great view, creating an engaging and lively atmosphere. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was nothing short of outstanding. The combination of humble service, inviting ambiance, delectable diner-style food, cold beer selection, and ample TV screens made it a standout dining destination. Whether you're seeking a casual meal with friends, a cozy date night, or a place to watch the big game, this restaurant is sure to exceed your expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.

My experience here was a complete joke. If you value your time or value having a hot, delicious meal, this place will severely disappoint you. First off, our group called ahead to ask about seating for a group of 15, to which we were told with happy upbeat attitude, would be no problem. What this person failed to mention was the staff of ONE working that evening, who moved slower than molasses and would be severely incapable of handling the workload we would bring. It took well over 15 minutes to be greeted after sitting, with just one other table occupied in the building. The drinks took another lengthy amount of time to be taken and brought (which the server should have brought pitchers of water to the table, not individual waters). Not to mention the food order, which happened well after 45 minutes of sitting. Furthermore, our server brought one person at our table additional lemons for their water IN HIS BARE HANDS. Health code violation?? We placed our orders of burgers, sandwiches and pasta. The dining room soon became hazier than the wildfire, smoked valley outside. Their grill hoods must be broken. Enough time has passed at this point that we've severely questioned our decision to come here. Every last person's food was cold. The burgers were awful. The server spilled alfredo sauce on a phone when he set their plate down. I had ordered the "Hot Pastrami and Swiss". The pastrami was barely warm and the swiss not even melted; the bread not toasted. My "side of lettuce and tomato" was pathetic. My fries were soupy with grease and barely warm. Two and a half hours later, with 15 people 100% disappointed, we finally got our checks and left. This place will never be visited by any one of us ever again. The server should learn some serious efficiency skills if working solo like that and the cook should absolutely be fired.

I had the opportunity to eat at Lofte's in SLC on a Wednesday. The other two restaurants that are in the immediate area by the Airport Hotels are closed on those days, so thanks for being open, Lofte's. I ordered the Ribeye Steak, it was a simple broil, butter finish and tender, very good. I just had to add a little salt for my taste 🤌. It comes with a simple house salad and choice of Pilaf or Red Skinned Potatoes. They let me sub for fries. I probably should have tried one of the other two. The fries were fresh cut, which means they need to be cooked slower or double fried, or they get a burned finish like mine had. Not the end of the world, just my critique. I've posted an up to date menu as I some items they list weren't available ( I wanted the Buffalo Shrimp). Service was very nice.

My fiance and I went there to try to enjoy a good experience after recently having a child. The waitress was extremely condescending from the start. We were staying at the Radisson across the street so, out of convenience we decided to stay. Opened up a bar tab so, the waitress took our debit Card. My fiance got into a disagreement after the waitress continued to be rude i.e. "Are you sure you guys can afford that?" I never used the race card but, I did notice we were the only Hispanics in the building. At that point we decided to leave. However, we couldn't find her debit card. The waitress called the police on us saying we were trying to skip out on a bill. I stayed for the police and told my fiance to go back to our room to see if she could find her card because, we had noticed her phone was missing as well. Upon the police arriving, the waitress laid it on thick. Now not only was I trying to skip out on a bill but, I had apparently threatened the waitress. Thankfully a random patron who was seated next to me told the cops that this waitress fabricated it. My fiance has a pink phone case. I happened to glance across the bar were only employees are allowed and spotted her pink phone case. Moments from being arrested I pointed it out to the police. Not only was it my fiances phone but also her Debit Card. She swiped it in front of the police officers and it of course approved. She even made a comment "Huh I guess they do have the money." So this waitress unlawfully concealed my fiance's card, tried to steal her phone, called the cops for no reason, I was almost arrested because of her actions. No apology. Just "GET OUT!" Honestly, the waitress smelled like alcohol. To add icing on the cake my brother was heading on his way over to pay the bill. He had arrived shortly, after I narrowly was able to leave on my own accord. There was a man who worked there that said "it seemed like I was on crack and trying to pay with a stolen card" Obviously, I was angry because, it wasn't just poor service. They tried to unlawfully take my freedom away. I thought the public humiliation stopped when I was lucky to leave. No disciplinary action for the waitress, no refund and no apology. They didn't just show horrible service they committed multiple crimes. 1)Filing a false report to the police. 2) Defamation of character 3) Theft. Never go to Lofte's on 2106 West North Temple. Not only will they try to steal from you but, they might have you arrested...
