This place is AMAZING!!!! The ice is shaved very finely, the flavors are sweet and yummy and as you can see the presentation is amazing! No wonder there are always a ton of people at the food truck. We visited at their location off North Temple and we got the larger shaved ice servings, and it’s actually a pretty large size helping that you can totally share one of you want and feel like you had a delicious dessert. Our server was so kind and let us customize the toppings and helped answer questions. Like my husband wanted the Sweet Paradise flavor without the tamarind and he asked her about it and she was kind and answered his questions about it. The gals here at Just a Craving are so sweet and they are also extremely fast! The restaurant was busy and we still got our shave ice within 5 to 6 minutes. The flavor options are great and you can even build your own. They have teas as well as shave ice. The crowd is always eclectic and fun and the atmosphere is good time for all. I recommend the Aloha Twist which is pineapple and coconut and the Latter Day coconut 🥥! The ice here is shaved so fine and packed so tightly that it honestly feels like a sorbet or even a light ice cream. Most snow cone places have crystallized crunchy ice, but this place really makes it like fluffy snow. The flavors are great and the prices are reasonable. My only complaint is that the seating indoors is often crowded and the music is loud, but it is a place geared towards children.
