MiaoMiao Cafe — Restaurant in Salt Lake City

Okay… I’ll admit it I went a little overboard here, but how could I not? Everything was so cute I completely lost all self-control the second I walked in.

I picked up not one, but TWO of the bear-shaped mousse cakes (how do you choose between matcha and vanilla when they’re both lying there looking adorable), a whole container of pink and white paw mochi skewers (I told myself I’d share… I did not), and the ube cheesecake that was almost too pretty to eat.

But no regrets, every single treat was delicious. The bears were light and creamy, with just the right amount of sweetness. The mochi was perfectly chewy and fun to eat, and the ube? Rich, smooth, and genuinely impressive in terms of both flavor and design.

Their smoothies are fantastic! Very flavorful and a creamy consistency with chunks of fruit. Presentation is also so aesthetically pleasing, as is most of the decor in the café. Everything was very decently priced as well, which was a good bonus :) I would go back for the smoothies alone. That being said, the fact that you have to pay to see cats is kind of unexpected and strange. Cat smell wasnt strong, at least, and overall it was a good experience besides not seeing a single cat. Would recommend, just not for the classic CAT...

Quite literally the cutest cat cafe ever. They had munchkin and ragdoll kitties that you could play with, feed treats, and pet. The owners were SO kind and even gave my friend and I extra free time with the cats because there was no one waiting behind us. They also gave us free treats to feed the kitties and even brought us free watermelon slices. You can tell they take great care of the cats and their customers. Before playing with the cats, I tried the Salted foam grape slush and it was SO good!! I can't recommend these...
