Ok where to I began. I am in the Army and I travel a lot for business. I am in charge of the Quatermaster/transportation for soldiers.I have always been loyal to Enterprise because they always take care of me and my soldiers 19 June 2017. Here we arw a wewk later trying to fix a small issue. I arrived in Seattle WA at 930pm after a 12 hour flight in. This last past rental I had the worst service I have received. I had a few upgrade I gave my coupon the guy and he did not upgrade me he said all we got was a standard car. I told him no I reserved a SUV. He then avoided my statement and asked what color a car I wanted. I told him just as long as it is not red. He the ran to the back some where took him 45 mins. He brought me a bright cherry red Kia Soul. I was disappointed. I told him this is not a upgrade an this is not what I want. He then stated to bad you get what we give you. I asked to speak to the manager and he said he was a manager. I didn't want to speak with him anymore. I was way to tired to deal with this at the moment. I took the car. When I called the next day I spoke to Courtney R. Bownes and she stated i could trade it in at no cost to me and she will give me 3 free days and my upgrade again. These were all false did not receive anything. She did give a different location to trade it in. When I arrived there they had nothing in the system and they were still going to charge me for the car. I have 980 soldiers that use Enterprise for weeks at a time. I think it is time to look at Hertz or other car rental place. I tried to call to speak with a manger and again never got a call back. I'm still waiting for the call or email. I will give them 2 more days to correct it. If I don't have a correction I will be putting Enterprise for the Army on the do not...
Read moreRented a car in Salt Lake City to drive to Moab, UT. Asked ERAC employee about cost to rent car for one-way only, dropping car at Moab branch. Said he didn't know, would have to ask Moab branch. They asked several times if I wanted to upgrade to a more expensive, larger vehicle for me and my one suitcase (seems standard in car rental industry). Nope. Drove to Moab and decided to inquire about dropping car there. They said to call SLC as it was there call. Called SLC said it was $125 fee. Good enough. Dropped car in Moab at a very confused ERAC facility. They didn't know what to do so they just told me I'm all set. And no rental agreement, or any paperwork at all yet for any of this. When I got back to SLC (buddy was in Moab, we drove to SLC airport together), I checked with ERAC to confirm everything was good. They couldn't even find me in their system, and didn't know rental agreement number since I didn't get one. They, again, said, all set. Almost a week later I get a $290 cc charge from ERAC and finally an email with a rental agreement. In total, to rent a crappy Rogue for four days cost me almost $600. I knew the drop fee was $125, but added to that was a pile of fees that more than doubled the one-way fee. So in summary, awful company with completely incompetent employees that I'll never use again. I'd rent a horse to go 240 miles before I'd rent from...
Read moreCar (jeep grand Cherokee) was lovely. Clean. Almost brand new. There is absolutely NO customer service!! I booked online thru their website. Car was ready when I arrived. Was given key, signed on a tablet. NO hard copy papers. All emailed to me. I'm on vacation. No real access to computer until hours later. Was pointed toward car-not shown a thing. It is quite different from my personal vehicle-hours later, I can't figure out how to turn on headlights!!!! They are too rushed to help you be safe? About an hour after I picked up car, I had a question. Had number on my original paper. Got the automatic push a number system. NEVER got to a real person. Even pushed the "if you have been in an accident " number---got a "not in service" recording!!!! Next day I found a computer and checked my documents. Found a number. Called, got all sorts of pleasant people who forward me to another number. Was finally told a manager would call me shorty. 6 days later, nothing yet. Car returned and I'm home. I cannot imagine what would happen if I had a real emergency. Non existent customer service...
