I was never contacted about my order having been delivered. This was after having waited 30 minutes for the delivery. I called once, and the manager told me to wait a bit longer. I waited 10 more minutes and called again. This time I was told it was delivered. I walk to my door, and yes, there is pizza there. I talked to the manager because my pizza was cold and I was never contacted,and the manager at this location told me there was "nothing she could do" because it "wasn't their fault."
My fellow Googlers, does the website mess up randomly and they have no idea why, or did the human delivery driver just not follow the procedure--whatever it is--that informs the app that the pizza has been delivered? My guess is the latter. Unless the entire Pizza Hut app suddenly glitched for everyone in the country, it was definitely human error.
Even if it weren't, though, a good manager who wanted to keep customers would maybe offer a coupon to be nice. That was my thought.
I'm not sure the pizza would have been hot even if I had been informed about its delivery, though, since at literally more than 30 minutes from the time the app informed me that the pizza was on its way it still wasn't there (I checked at that point.)
In conclusion, feel free to get delivery from here if you want cold pizza and rude service.
Oh! And my order wasn't even complete. They left out the marinara sauce...
Read moreThree times in a row our order was messed up beyond belief. Mind you, we hardly ever have the opportunity to order out, let alone get up and moving these days. First time we let it go. Second time, the manager yells at my disabled elderly mother over the phone and says there is NOTHING he can do. So I, who also has disabilities, bring the items back Into the store to show him our problem and inform him we rarely go out to eat let alone order delivery with our budgets. He still, rather rudely says he can credit our account but they are extremely busy so if I wanted it th e n I'd have to sit and wait. Months go by and we are reunited for a movie night and after discussing the prior problems with this pizza hut, we decide to let the past go.. and guess flipping what . We go all out like idiots and spend fifty bucks on dried up bread sticks, dry garlic knots, no cheese sticks and two very disappointing pizzas .. so I take my oxygen with an extra tank for safety purposes and get down there to yet another rude, but younger, employee w h o says he can do nothing for us and is ruder than yet the last manager, completely argumentative and extremely defensive. Sadly no one cares in management here and I can't get any real names of the franchise owners from any employees .. lesson FINALLY learned...
Read moreI order here almost every week sometimes twice a week but after talking to their manager Sarah today, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I ordered my pizza at 7:13pm and got an estimate wait time of 20-30 minutes. At 7:30pm I got an update that my pizza was out for delivery. This Pizza Hut is 1.1 miles away from my apartment. At 7:58pm I was still waiting for my pizza. I called Pizza Hut and was on hold for 7 minutes until I got a hold of someone and asked to speak to a manager, on hold again, then got a call from the driver who said he was outside the apartment building and I let him know to use the callbox to be let in. 8:09pm and finally get to speak to Sarah the manager who proceeds to tell me the pizza is on time and that if the delivery driver said he is downstairs I would have to go downstairs to get it and if he isn't there, then I can call back to complain and then she hung up on me. She spoke to me for less than 30 seconds and didn't let me finish any of my sentences, she just kept cutting me off. I went downstairs to get my pizza and turns out the driver went to the apartment's south building and we are on the north side.
